Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Everyone has a darkside....

She trotted quickly toward the familiar smell of salt, though this time it wasn't a visit. She fully intended on staying as resident of the seaside pack. Why? She couldn't quite say. Perhaps it was her little conversation with solitaire, or maybe her little taste of the land inside the borders was just too tempting. Temptation seemed to be ruling her life a bit more than usual lately, and she needed some sort of discipline or figure to make her fall in line; but not one as over controlling as her parents had been. Surely she could do something for them, perhaps patrol the borders since it was way too easy for her to get in.

Sitting a few inches away from the border she threw her dark crown back and released a call, for someone to come and greet her preferably someone who could allow her to join. As she lowered her head she wrapped her tail around her paws, with her bright yellow-green eyes staring directly ahead. Impatience within patience, her mind was shouting at whoever was coming to hurry up, her body however shows no tension. She was almost tempted to cross the line like she did before, only to find the leader this time. But she wouldn't trespass, she still considered herself lucky from last time, and as always striker knows better when then push her luck too much.

Can you love me for mine?"
