sing the song with the heart of the people
Honestly, it seemed like fate was determined to prove that Fenrir's worry was correct. He had left her long enough to go track down something for them to hunt (maybe even do it himself, if he saw fit), while she explored the rogue lands with a sort of breath of freedom. She loved her children and she enjoyed each pack she had been to but her body had missed this - fresh air without the taint of wolf claiming, the way her body could stretch and race, although she misses suddenly the morning racing she would do with her daughter. It is while she is so distracted enjoying the way her muscles flex beneath her thick pelt, not yet even realizing that she carries two babes within her belly, that a white wolf creeps up to her and in the span of a few minutes begins to race and herd her back towards Glorall.
Natu, alarmed at first, fluffs up so that her hackles rise and her teeth flash for she immediately is reminded of that white male whom she had attacked over Heyel's corpse but her icy blue eyes widen when she realizes this male is not the same. He bears a striking resemblance, almost, to her dead imprint and she blinks a few times before her body catches up with her and she begins to move in a flowing motion in the direction he wants. Natu does not, however, stop to try and talk him out of it. In fact, she lets him lead her wherever he wants for hadn't she once did this same thing? She remembers stealing Ragnarok from his terrors and the way he had been so furious with her and also that he had come back to the mountain after she had re-introduced him.
"You are Eden of Glorall," she states calmly, her dulcet voice easing over them both as she eyes him in an unabashed manner.
"I recognize your scent from Taviora. A King now, I see. Well, let us get to where you wish to go, but know my mate will be coming along with me I am sure." Her lips actually curl at the ends, wondering if Eden had stood aside long enough to see Fenrir earlier and how long he had been watching her. She needed to practice her sleuthing skills once more.
She pauses in their walk for a moment, throwing back her maw to release a song that calls for Fenrir's presence but also begs him not to panic. No doubt he would be upset with this change in events since she had to talk him into leaving Taviora in the first place to spend time alone without a pack. Now here they were being herded to a different one, but not one she was completely unfamiliar with since her brother had lived there and niece. And Grayson! She does not know if he has returned from his traveling with her niece but the idea that he is there lifts her spirits and she trots beside Eden.
