The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

She was immediately pursued by the creature. Thea could only be helplessly thrust back into time, escaping her own forest, knowing she would never see it again. The fae kicked in her best amount of energy, the leg that Helenne had pushed back into place ached with the effort. She wasn’t meant to put that much pressure on it. Amalthea thought herself to be further ahead than the male… but this thought was quickly followed by a sharp pain on her leg, the very same one she had been having troubles with during her stay in this terrible new land. The ess felt the teeth grip, the muscles flex in the jaw, skin refusing to be broken by the ivories, and she could almost but not truly process the motion of her body being tugged back. A shrill squeal went through her, surprise in vocal form. The unicorn went splaying into the dirt, rolling over her own shoulders twice and hitting up against a tree. Pain seared through her body, electrical currents flying through her nerves. Lilac watchers opened wide, but her vision was beginning to abuse her. For seconds she could not focus on her surroundings no matter how many times she tried blinking or shaking her head. It was all a blur for a period of time. And that period of time just happened to be the most frightening experience Amalthea had possibly ever had. What if she lost her vision? Anxiety soared through her blood, reaching levels it should not ever be allowed to touch. Finally she was capable of blinking away the haze. She tried lifting herself but immediately fell back to the ground, crumpling in on herself. That leg of hers that she’d managed to put out of place not weeks ago would not move. Was it dislocated again? Or perhaps it was broken… either way she felt her hope falling on torn wings towards the mortal world. Panic ensnared her. She was trapped. Terrified and cornered. He acted as if she were going to get up, and she would have gladly. But the pain ricochete, causing her whole body to want to curl in on itself. The ivory faerie heaved for a breath, inhaling sharply through clenched pearls while she tried desperately to clear her spinning mind.

What could she do? The doe looked up, catching the eye of her attacker and pursuer. He’d managed to leap over her during the chaos of her fall and was now in a stance suggesting he was still expecting her to move. But as another wave of pain rippled through her, bowing her head in terror, the dreamer imagined she could only be seen as prey cringing in on herself. As something that could barely keep itself alive if given its freedom. She was a bird with mechanical and glass wings, bred to be kept in a cage. And this was not said cage. She was pathetic. Useless except to stare at. Amalthea steeled her gaze. No. She was not so easily taken down, at least not in spirit. Though her body was frail, her mind was not. Auds twisted uncomfortably as her glare met his own lanterns, listening as his teeth clashed against one another. What do you want with this one? After relearning how to speak after spending most of her life in silence, Amalthea had picked up her own way of talking. And her voice was quiet. Calm. Something that belonged in a marble hall with mirrors laced with gold. It was not one would expect to hear in their situation here. It may sound beautiful and refined on the outside, but inside Amalthea was reeling through ideas for escape. None of them were working…
