Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

we're the trash in your bed

What on earth have you gotten yourself into?

While the voice which had accompanied him since he was a young, lonely child slipped through his mind, clearly nervous about what adventures these new mares presented, Psychedelic was only excited. The dunalino paint spent his life feeling as if each horse he came across would only glare down at him from a pedestal they’d placed him on. Each one thought he was too strange to be trusted, pushing him away rather than drawing him close. It was all he had known and so, Psychedelic had felt it was how life was to be and he told himself he enjoyed it. He only laughed at their backs as they retreated and carried on whichever way he wished to go, not bothered that they’d left.

Yet… to finally be accepted for who and what he was, even if he had not fully divulged himself… was this what he had been missing his entire life? Is this what it felt like to come across a stranger and not lose them to either violence or disgust as they turned about and left him alone? Psychedelic had never thought to search for this, had never thought to want for this. Yet now that he had it, as either girl closed in on his sides, he knew he wouldn’t want to live without it. No matter where these two went, Psychedelic knew he would find them.

“Alright,” he said, attention on Sinopa after she’d spoken, one ear flicked toward her, the other pointed on Tolinka. “Let’s see what you’ve got for me.” He rose to their challenge with the normal touch of confidence to his tone. What could they ask him, after all? Was there anything he couldn’t tell them? Certainly not about himself, if they cared to ask. Psychedelic had no secrets and, for the right question, he’d tell all. Were they curious about the Lagoon, perhaps? He’d only lived here a year when last he was here, but he knew enough of it both from then and from the stories his father had told him that he knew he could answer those, too.
