Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Gods may bleed among mortals...

Dead memories of a Legend
Chapter IV Armaggedon

I do not believe going on a killing spree all around would be a nice way to prevent unwanted attention. After all, a trail of corpses may lead them to me. The angels are on my back and I am sure of that. There is truly nothing I can do now. With my pack counting me as dead and departing to other lands my army is out of paw. War is no more, I guess. But now I’ve got the chance to make my ending great. The gods wanted this from me and here I am, left alone with nobody to believe and doomed. That shadow. Perhaps if I can prove the foreseer wrong it could change. Right? If I killed the shadow? Would the angels leave me be? He is after me, isn’t he? They could have sent anyone. But they will send the shadow.

Everything is a confusion in my head. That warrior was not supposed to resist so much. I had to take his life or all would be over. I don’t know why I felt so light and so soothed by that. Like… I did it. It felt good. My own promise to myself was broken and yet it felt great. The life of my creation wasn’t supposed to be taken away like that, or else I wouldn’t have given them freedom! But then I realized. I should have done this before. If it wasn’t for Vague leaving my pack alive like that, I wouldn’t have done this. Wolves would take me seriously and all would be alright! My pack wouldn’t be full of so many! It enraged me, but soothed my mind at the same time.

Now my death is on track. But here it is. I found one more who could perhaps help with it.

-Death comes to all of us. You are the one to choose how you are going.

Deep voice seeking to cut right through his chest and into his feelings. Let me see who you are young wolf.

- My time is soon. I’ve been there, but only to leave my trace.

I told him. It was clear that he could be one of the angel haters. Or… I may have told him too much.

- They have taken someone from me as well and an angel in particular is on my tail. The angels are like that, they take your loved ones and kill you for trying to protect them. Who have they taken from you?

I asked, playing his game too. I’ve told you my lie. Now tell me yours.
