News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

MyraYou're the only guaranteed loyalty

There was an elegant grace to each of the girl's movements. She appears to glide over the freshly powdered ground, muscles rippling beneath a plush winter coat. Myra was built for winter, built to survive the harshest of colds thanks to her mountain blood. She didn't look it, her girly features and long legs entirely deceptive, but she was a force of nature, built to pack a serious blow to anything around her that required such a response. Already exceptionally large, she was nearing her third full year of life where she would finish filling out to mirror everything her father had been. In fact, Kaius was the parent that she took heavily after, the only show of her mother Snowshoe in the sparce white upon her body and the crackle of blue in her eyes. Unlike her father however, she was a sweet creature, pure of soul having not been around long enough for it to be blackened by the soot of the world. What helped keep her so innocent may very well be the fact that she could hear no evil; everything was silent, including the voices of the corrupt. Venomous words would never drip into her ears.

Despite not being able to hear herself, she moved in silence past the borders of the mountain pack. The young girl had trained herself to tread lightly so that prey would never hear her coming. It had been hard, with her muscles as heavy as stones and he large paws tending to be thunderous. But practice made perfection, and soon enough she was able to hunt with ease. A sense of guilt washed over her like the waves of Glorall (her previous home) as she paused not too far over the border. She had been gone for longer than she would have liked. Myra did not understand why the male had become so important to her, why she had felt the desire to follow him when the call of the wild drew him out of Moladion. The young girl had never been taught the concept of imprinting, her deafness making it almost impossible for her to understand the binding of two souls. Yet, like a shadow, she followed, keeping close to the strange boy even if she couldn't tell if her presence was desired or not. Only when homesickness struck her harder than ever did she finally turn back to the only world she knew, hoping he would feel the pull she had and follow her for a change.

She did not concern herself with the affairs of the other wolves of Spirane, the only thing on her mind was finding her siblings. They had probably given up hope for her, her simple vanishing act having given them no where to search and her deafness giving them little faith in her ability to survive. How surprised they would be to see her not only alive but thriving and home. Their secondary reaction however was the one that concerned her: would they hate her, be angry at her for leaving without word? Her sister Despoina maybe, Sciathan was questionable. Either way, her love for them was an unwavering constant, they had been there for her when their mother had walked out and their father was never involved; their emotions would not change her feelings for them.

Without the ability to hear, Myra's other senses had heightened to their maximum capabilities. Her obsidian nose was hard at work sorting through the mass amount of scents for familiar ones as she moved through the packlands but it was difficult as her siblings scents had gone stale down at the base of the mountain. Cream eyebrows furrowed, disgruntled by this development. They may very well have left the mountain as well, and if that was the case her search today would be in vain and force to extend farther through out the land. The granite colored girl continued up and up until she stumbled upon the mass gathering.

Her silver gaze sliced through the crowd, siphoning through each wolf for her sister or half brother. When she had gotten through what seemed to be the entirety of the mountain pack without spotting either of them, her shoulders slunk down. The realization that they may not even live in Spirane anymore hit her hard, but it did not stop her from slipping around the group and up the mountain farther. If only Myra had looked up to see her sister standing there like a gargoyle, however her mind was too focused on places to search; the den they had once shared together was next, maybe her sister still used it.

The large girl did not make it to her destination before her nose flared to life with the perfume of her sister. An ink dipped tail swayed with a new found hope. The scent was fresh. She immediately went to work, following the scent in the direction in which it drifted from. It followed along one of the paths that wrapped around the entire mountain, its view unparalleled of the border and all of Moladion itself. Her gait picked up tremendously to a quick trot, not worried in the slightest that she would slip on the fresh snow, her webbed paws like snowshoes. When large paw prints came into view, it allowed her nose to take a break as silver eyes went to work, following the trail and looking ahead for the burnt figure of her sister.

It wasn't hard to spot Despoina, her black, brown, and gray a stark contrast to the blinding white encompassing the world around her. Excitement won over Myra and, instead of calling out to her sister, she charged forward, hitting full, powerful stride. A grin had tugged at her lips as she came upon her sister. Just as Despoina would have noticed the sudden approach of another, Myra leaps, hoping to tackle the slightly smaller girl and pin her. Even if she didn't manage to, she rears back slightly in order to avoid the flashes of fangs that were sure to come slicing for her face. When realization sets in upon Despoina is when the granite girl will allow her sister up if she managed to pin her successfully.

A large, lopsided grin sits on her face as silver and blue eyes stare at the singed girl expectantly. "Despoina," Myra says, her voice hoarse and almost shakey with an uncertainty at anything she says being correct. Excitement and happiness clouds her focus on the vibrations in her throat that tell her the volume she is speaking in, and so her words are more of a high pitched yell. Her ink dipped banner sways at an even pace like windmill being blown by the breeze.
