Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Daisy

I loved my children more than anything, and the way Oliza tried to stick up for me when she had spoken to her father was commendable, but at the same time I had punished her for the way she had acted then, she should have known better than to ask him anything personal. The time had come and gone for me to be angry at Ross for what had happened, but when I thought about it in the long run, he had given me my best blessings, my little ones, and I have never been able to be mad at him for that. Sure, that did not mean I ever wanted to see his face again, not like his expressions didn’t come through on Oliza’s face, or Chandlers, but I didn’t want to see him in person again, one on one.

The night sky had fallen, the kids were sleeping near the den, they had complained many times that they had outgrown sleeping with their mother in the cramped, too-small den that they had been born in. And at times, Daisy agreed, but she loved having her children nearby, it was something that she would never grow out of. The thought of possibly having more pups in the future was deinately a want, she felt the urge to be a nurturing mother again, but she knew that pups meant either a mate or an imprint, and she had neither, so she knew for now, pups would be out of the question, even though her heart longed to make her family larger.

The stars twinkled above her mottled body, fading in and out, hiding beneath the clouds that covered them, only to shine brighter when they reappeared within the sky. When she thought of it, she supposed she had chosen not to foist her children onto another’s shoulders when they were young, not wanting them to be a burden to anyone, maybe that was why she had never sought out finding her imprint, or finding a mate for that matter. But in the same sense, who wanted a mute mate or imprint? She knew that was something that discouraged her often, thinking of her defect, but in all honesty, she didn’t know anyone who would honestly want her with the issues she has.
