Indeed there are real possibilities in the real world. Providing a safe haven for herself, her imprint, and other wolves that were ostracized by their kind was nothing more than a possibility that she had made, turn into a reality. It was a real possibility that either she, or Tobias, would attack and kill one another even if they were imprinted upon. It was a real possibility that she could have thrown away her meal and attacked him instead, and yet she didn’t, because she didn’t want to. She gave him her meal and there was a good possibility that she didn’t have to. There are possibilities everywhere that are just waiting to become realities.
As she stood protectively over Everlast those dark azure eyes narrowed on whatever offending object would be heading their way. She may not know the young girl, her scent within the plains was never caught. Perhaps Seline did an excellent job in hiding Everlast. Seline had not been seen in an entire season and she was not so greatly concerned with her, because she had never done anything or said anything that gave the idea she would stay. It did not bother her if the red and white wolf left them, but it did bother her that she did not know about Everlast.
As Everlast tucked herself down and rolled out from underneath her Tick Tock tilted her head to the side puzzled. It didn’t bother her that Everlast was being extremely submissive. No one in her pack had acted like her before and she was baffled. She did not order her pack to bow at her, she did not tell them to get on their back and expose their belly, she did not ask them for any such thing. She would look over to the male for a moment and beckon him to at least step forward as she tended to her pack member. Slowly her head would lower as her dark sapphire eyes looked into those dark gray pools. Her cool lyrics slipped out once more as she answered matter-of-factly.
“I smell like the plains because I took Asteraia. Jaidah and her family no longer reside there.”
