It was not difficult to see that their first prisoner was in such an unsatisfactory state. Perhaps she was still overcoming the wounds that Tobias had given her. He seemed in a better state and his limping had improved. She wasn’t worried about his condition. Rather she just let nature run its course and allow him to heal naturally. Every now and then she would have to snap at him if he snapped at his leg, but once he was settled and he was moving around again everything was fine. While other wolves agonized over their injured counterpart Tick Tock didn’t think too much of it. Should he have a more severe wound she would have taken a few looks at it, even bring in Majora or some other healing wolf, and yet she did no such thing. There was no need to. She would have brought Majora or another wolf with the knowledge of healing for Fiammetta, but there was hardly anything anyone could do for the burnt woman. She would have to suffer and endure and perhaps…she learned a lesson. Dark azure eyes roamed over the battered and burnt female for a moment taking note that her condition wasn’t up to snuff as it should be. If the she-wolf would be living within the fields then weakness would not be tolerated and so she needed fixing. As she grabbed the pathetic looking skeleton of the almost eaten rabbit Tick Tock ignored it as she lackadaisically explained to the she-wolf the reason to taking the badger.
“Yes a rabbit does not have much meat and it typically takes more than one rabbit to satisfy hunger. The badger, however, can fill one’s stomach much faster. Again, with winter coming soon you need a better meal.”
Tick Tock was not trying to take away more of Fiammetta’s pride. Quietly she placed herself on the ground lying in front of the she-wolf. Those cold eyes remaining entirely on the she-wolf, those eyes never wavering as she watched silently. It did not bother her at all when Fiammetta attempted to make a scowl on her marred façade. She would just lie there stoically unbothered by the northern winds that held the briefest touch of coldness, whispering that winter was coming soon. Her half torn ear twitches as Fiammetta speaks and she was quite amused that this would be the second time Fiammetta mentioned she had sex with Tobias. Perhaps he was just that good, that Fiammetta felt she had to tell everyone. For a moment she would lie her head over her paws quite relaxed and unconcerned that Fiammetta may want and try to attack her. Unfortunately for Fiammetta, Tick Tock could not satisfy her, with the answers she wanted to hear. Tick Tock was unaware Tobias was fighting Fiammetta in order to keep her. Tick Tock was unaware that Tobias had even raped her. Whatever Tobias did he did for himself and he was not one to share what idea or thoughts he had about anything. Lifting her head she would speak softly as always with an apathetic tone.
“I did not bring you here and I did not know Tobias wanted you, if you would like a reason, you need to talk to him. But seeing how you think he is beneath you and you assume he cannot communicate well, I guess you’ll never know the real reason why he wanted you.”
It was her second to last question that caused her to tilt her head in a curious manner. There were many wolves that had different pelts. There was no wolf in Asteraia that was black and red. If there was, and if Fiammetta had attacked a wolf of Asteraia, then she would be punished severely. The only wolves she knew that fit the pelt discerption was Andras and her daughter, but Andras was no youngster. Surely Fiammetta had not trespassed into Iromar and attacked her own daughter…Iromar would surely have a bounty on her skull if she did. Her voice carried an honest puzzlement as she stated her question.
“What ebony and red youngster?”
It was the familiar scent of Flare that had caught her attention. She could actually feel the red and white she-wolf approaching closer. She would rise up from the ground and lift herself on her long stilts and move towards the clearly agitated wolf. Gently her shoulder would press into Flare’s side as she slowly walked up against the she-wolf feeling the furry seep from her. Why Flare would be this upset over Fiammetta she did not know, Fiammetta carried Tobias scent and therefore was properly protected to remain within Asteraia. When she stepped up to Flare’s other side she would press her muzzle against Flare’s neck, attempting to soothe the wolf. Within Asteraia she did not enforce her rule nor did she demand other wolves for anything. Rather treated them with respect, those that were normal and those that were different. Dark eyes would look back towards Fiammetta as she gruffly returned her last comment – she had no friends and whatever foes she used to have…they were dead.
“I have no friends and you are no foe of mine and why do you desperately want to be?”
For a moment she would turn her ebony skull towards Flare and gently lick the side of her face quite content with her close proximity, hoping that her presence alone would at least soothe the girl, wondering why she was so upset with Flare.
