Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

His resignation, his scolding, it is all a building up of nerves. Nerves that make them slip into the usual demeanor they had nearly forgotten with one another. “You are my sister, my best friend. How would you expect me to not keep searching, hoping that one day I would find you... I couldn't go to Taviora. It wouldn't be a home, not without...” but she interrupts him by nudging a bird in his direction, clearly deciding that it was not worth fighting what has now brought him back to her. “I've made it just fine, wandering and searching. I wouldn't ever give up hope, not for my family. Especially not for you.”

.She does not call him out yet, though she does keep an eye on how he chooses to be particularly absent about a meal. The difficulty in catching it made her a little sour about his lack of enthusiasm, but it was not enough to make her open her mouth against him. “Why can't we go somewhere with a better view of the sky… We can take care of each other... Like we always did.” But just as she turns to answer him, scolding him again, he finally pushes his mouth into the eating what she provided him.

“Would you prefer the open meadows tucked into Spirane? Or the plateau and desert of Diveen, then, my brother? Asteraia is the home of my heart, but I cannot go there now, infected as it is -- but we need help, Viserys. We are exposed.” Her tongue takes extra care to lap away anything that might unnerve his stomach. “I cannot hide us both.”

He is finishing himself, then, and with a soft belly crawl, she reaches out to him and licks up the side of his cheek. “You still do not enjoy the hunt, do you. That is why you do not eat well. I will tell you things that I have learned that will settle your mind.” Her eyes are insistent and her mussed fur is shaken just a little before she settles into the back of the den with a space where he might crawl in. “But first sleep.”
