PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Dreams of StarDust (Skoll)

Taika contemplated it for a moment, searching through her limited memories for what had happened so far in her life. The buckskin pirate had often flaunted that she had claimed the big stallion as her trinket, and Taytim had always insisted that Rodrigo was not some prize to be won. She had not witness any other stallions in the mountains and could not answer Skoll’s questions with surety. One thing she did know, was that being around Ysabella helped teach her how to be tricky and quick on her feet. That, she could answer.

She sometimes went cool places! She likes to run, and to race!” The filly grinned impishly. “She is the one my mother complains about getting me into more trouble than I get myself into!” Taika said it with such a matter of fact voice that it was clear she felt no shame in the amount of time she spent ‘in trouble’.

The peppered face looked up at him in utter confusion and bewilderment. “No… I don’t. The only stallion I know isn’t my dad. So maybe I don’t have one? Maybe one of the other mares is my dad! Excitement rang through her voice at the thought. Taytim had always talked about how a herd was a family whether they called each other a family, a herd, or had some other word for themselves. The trust and loyalty between them all was what made the unit and what brought them together. It would make sense then for one of the other mares to step up and fulfill fatherly duties for her. Taika made up her mind that her next mission was to find out which one. Possibly the fabled ‘Prime Minister’ that many of the Amazons spoke of, but she had never seen.

Before Skoll could even finish his sentence, Taika was off on the trail. Her heart pounded with her hooves while she picked and chose her path. Every day since she was born she had either explored this land on her own, or with her mother hot in toe. The foothills of the mountain were all but hers. They raced through the streams and the grasses of the lowlands. Her hooves started to scrape at stone as they moved higher. Slowly but surely they made it to the cliffs, where trees and shrub started to get scarce. These were the paths the filly was less familiar with. Slowing down ever slightly, she jumped to the ledges, finding paths that led this way and that.

One such trail she stopped in front of. It led into a cave that had been carved into the mountain’s face. Their race to the top forgotten, she looked back at Skoll. “Want to go in there?
