Braylen

stallion | 15.1hh | palomino tovero | protector of the inlet

Braylen stayed silent; his blue eyes watching her as she tried to show him what she wanted to say. He thought it was rather clear, though what else she had wanted to say when she opened her muzzle he wasn't sure. A heavy sigh escaped the stallion, his ears pinning back against his poll for a moment as he felt frustration crawl through him for her. She was such a sweet and gentle soul; he had never seen her show aggression before. Why was she cursed with such a fault that she lived with? Ears pushing back forwards, Braylen reached his muzzle out towards her to try and settle her since she seemed rather upset now as he met her gaze.

"The past is the past, Isobel. You're here now" he said, offering her a smile before it disappeared. "There is a lot that has changed in your absence. I no longer have Paradise" A frown the crossed his features, though he did not look away from her gaze. "And Zain is no longer with me. He left shortly after you did, I assume looking for you. I could not find him." Zain had also been old enough to strike out on his own and try to make a life. Braylen had only searched for him in hopes that the boy had not been hurt or worse; dead. But since Braylen had never found any signs of struggle or injury, the stallion could hope that Zain had made it in life and was starting to make a family of his own.

Giving a shake of his head as if to clear his thoughts, Braylen refocused on Isobel. "I live in the Inlet on Tinuvel now with a stallion named Pagan. I'm his second" the painted stallion explained. "That.... that could be your home too, if you want?" Despite their reunion and Braylen's vigorous display of rubbing his scent all over the mare in a claiming manner, that did not mean she would want to come with him. What if she was wanting a different life and that is why she kept leaving?
