News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

How exciting!

The invitations had come upon word of mouth. All who were turning two could visit the mountains for some fun time mingling with those of her age. She had immediately run to Alexander and demanded that he accompany her or at least show up. After all he hadn't been to see Arthfael yet and while she knew her Spirane brother did not much care for crowds (he was too much of a grump, she thinks), she enjoyed any chance she had to shine. Literally and figuratively. It had become a chore for Ankh during the winter months to actually try and find something fun. She had grown melancholy with the departure of her parents and no word recently had not sat well in her gut but she wasn't ready to go search for them. To slog through the slush and the grime of winter to god knew where? It was not a pleasurable thought. So she just tucked herself in the den she still shared with her brothers and slept as much as she could. After all, beauty will always need her rest.

Since spring had fallen upon them she had escaped the musty confines of the den for a more thorough cleaning, dipping herself into the frigid waters that sluiced from the mountains and meticulously cleaning her fur deep. It was much in the same manner she had done before when her cousins (who weren't so much her cousins, truthfully) had shown up in Taviora, spending much time grooming herself in preparation to astound them with her glory. She was a slender creature and her muscles had been built for her to run faster even than the wind. It seemed as if she had been born with a thicker mane, much in the way of a lions (in her opinion), that made her look regal, along with the length of hair along her backline that she took a special shine to.

In the winter her pale eyes had appeared more blue like her mothers for they often took on the sheen of what was around her, that being mostly white and blues, but now that the vibrant shoots of grass had begun to appear they took on a more pale green look. She stretches out her lean legs as she trots across the open land and towards the borders of Spirane, a familiar place, and one she cared for very much. Besides, she hadn't had a chance to see her stubborn brother in a while and she would ferret him out if need be.

Ankh does not pause as she crosses the border, a familiar habit of hers, and her trot turns into more of a prancing step, each foot light upon the ground in a graceful manner. She walks in an ethereal manner that is meant to draw attention to herself as she heads towards the spot where she had first heard the story from Sorcha, noting the figures already grouped there. The Princes of Spirane, whom she had only briefly met (or at least seen), and two other boys, one who was white with some silvery hairs and one whose entire back was covered in a russet color that was quite becoming, she decided.

She heads towards them with ears pricked, slowing to stop before the rock that Rhaegal sits upon. "Hello boys," she says in a calm demeanor with a sly undertone, glancing at them before settling upon Viserion for a moment, knowing him to be best friend to her brother. "Is Arthfael not coming?" There is a flash of irritation in her eyes but then it turns into something decisive, knowing she would go drag him out later if she had to. and she glances at the Princess with a warm smile for she hadn't seen her the last time she had visited Taviora, a true Princess with style. "I am Ankh, of Taviora," she chirps suddenly, glancing at the rest of them in an expectant manner - names, after all, were a part of manners.
