Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

You’re Mine as I’m Yours

The russet colored female’s stomach grumbled, and it urged her forward faster. Her stilts carried her quickly through the trees, alert to any prey that may be around her. For once though there didn’t seem to be much around, and she was wondering why that was the case. Usually within the trees there was a plethora of game to go after, but everything seemed to be in hiding at the moment so she pressed onwards. She still carried herself in the same cocky way she always did unconsciously, even though she had a purpose now. As of late she had been wandered without purpose. She had been living day by day, no particular purpose in mind other than doing whatever she needed to do to keep herself alive. And for that she needed food. What she did not realize was that she craved the company of others. Ygritte felt like she had everything she needed in life. She was more than capable of finding food and water for herself, and she kept on the move, finding new places to sleep and shelter in every night, not staying in one area for too long. She had no reason for being on the move so much, it was just that she got bored easily, and mixing up the scenery helped keep her a little more entertained.

Finally the female caught the scent of prey. Her nares inhaled sharply, relishing the scent of fresh blood. Immediately she began salivating as she dropped her stance to a crouch, pale blue-grey orbs scanning the area for what her nose had detected. Finally she saw it, a rabbit. She was glad that she had come to the lusher part of the field, knowing that there would be much less chance of finding something in the area that was burnt and dead. Ygritte carefully treaded forward, one paw at a time, taking care not to tread on anything that would alert her target to her presence. She could see the hare’s ears stand up from the tall grasses, and she knew she was close enough to hit her target. The red wolf was not paying any attention to anything except for the rabbit, not noticing that there was another female close by, one that she had encountered before. Ygritte positioned herself to make her move, and her hind limbs pushed off powerfully from the ground, knowing that she would easily be able to hit her mark and kill the rabbit quickly.

As the female launched through the air, she caught the sight of another form, a dark one, flying towards her. She had not seen the other varg that had also had sights on the rabbit. The two females crashed into each other, the rabbit easily getting away from them. Instincts made her turn around quickly, getting to her paws instantly in an aggressive stance. A growl escaped from her, annoyed that someone had had the nerve to ruin her hunt and try to steal her prey, not thinking that the other lupine may have been there first. Words were already coming from her mouth before she interrupted herself, recognizing the female that she had quite literally run into. ”What the hell…” She changed from aggressive to passive very quickly when she recognized Halina, a smirk now on her features. ”Why hello Halina. I see you could not keep yourself away from me.”
