Scarlett had been lazing around for the start of the day. Her sister had gone off to play with other friends and their mother had gone off to be with her grandmother. So the small osprey girl had decided to enjoy this fine spring day, relaxing in the shade. It was a beautiful day, the flowers having bloomed in full and life restored to the forest. Spring was certainly a time to celebrate, as Scarlett had turned one years old. It was super exciting to the little girl, and she could already see the changes in herself. Sure she hadn't got that much bigger, as she was a little thing and would always be little, but she was starting to fill into her body. Her legs were longer and she was extremely fast, much faster than her siblings and her best friend Vortigern who she loved to challenge to races all the time. When she was full grown, she would be the fastest one in the forest, this she was sure.

Suddenly Vortigern approached her, causing her to bounce up immediately in excitement. It didn't take much convincing for her to follow him to the meadow, she'd follow him anywhere really. They climbed atop THEIR tree stump, as it was only theirs and no one elses. It had been where they had met, and it would remain their little secret forever. It wasn't until a howl rung out that the comfortable peace between the two friends was broken with excitement. The angel boy leaped from the stump with a grace she hadn't noticed before until now; he was growing up as well. "Come on Scar! Tzad will already be there I bet," he says, looking back at her before racing off. She bolts off the stump and races after him. He may have longer legs, but she could move faster and so she was beside him quickly.

Soon enough they came upon Vortigern's brother Tzdakiel, whom she hadn't officially met until now. She offers him a friendly smile and bow of her head as the older female approaches and begins to talk. Brown ears flick to listen to her words as she begins to describe the forest. There is a tiny smirk of amusement, for the osprey knew that the boys hadn't been out here yet.....but she had. She had snuck out one day and had an adventure, even meeting a sweet, strange girl named Raptor and playing with her. Scarlett wasn't normally so quiet, but it wasn't noticed by the boys or Namira. Her big red eyes simply looked around in awe, semi ignoring what was going on ahead of her.

The group stopped without her noticing, causing her to bump into Vortigern. "Sorry," she said to him with a grin, her tail wagging behind her. The older female asked which way they wanted to go and listened as the boys immediately jumped on the idea of going towards Diveen. It made sense sine they were angels after all. Scarlett grinned from ear to ear, having no quarrels with their idea. "I don't mind going to Diveen!" she chirped, her entire body seeming to wiggle with excitement at the idea of exploring more.
