PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Dreams of StarDust

Well this as certainly a new and wonderful experience! Snow was deep in the mountainous Peaks. Where it came up to some knees it went well above Taika's legs, up to her chest, and at times to her neck. The banks did not stop the filly's determination to explore and roam, but it did slow her down! At least a little. She very quickly learned there were places of the mountain where the snow piled higher than in others. There were faces of the cliffs where vegetation and the rocky ground was still exposed and easily traversed. While others had depths so shaped by the wind the small child was forced to walk behind her mother to get anywhere. Being the wise and logical young lady that she was, she found herself bounding in and out of banks that brushed her shoulders.

Her dark body was still slowly graying, the peppering becoming a subtle sheen over her black coat. If it had not been for the delighted laugher she still would have been obvious as she bounded in and out of the snow. The trail she left behind her was haphazard at best and without any semblance of purpose or meaning. It almost appeared as though she had purposefully taken the deeper routes to points of interest that caught her eyes. She stopped a moment when another's laughter intermingled with her own. At once her course changed and she struggled through the deep snow to where the elder played her own game.

Dark eyes fell on a darker shape and Taika waited, resting in hiding behind a large cliff that had shielded a patch of ground from the snow. She watched the Friesian mare fight the foes only she could see. Breath caught in the filly's throat. She knew who the Prime Minister was, Taytim having pointed her out a number of times, but had never met the mare. It seemed as though fate and chance brought them together here to fight. No matter the enemy, the fearless leader of the Vulcans attacked, it was up to the sister of the Peak to defend and keep it strong!

Taika leapt from her hiding place with her own battle cry. Her small hooves struck at the air and pounded the ground. She covered Impa's large draft prints with her own dainty ones. Young, but not entirely stupid, she made sure to stay in the area the mare had cleared with her bulk, and to stay out reach of those feathered hooves.

Take this, too! This is for Tauno! her muscles bunched and she shot herself into the air, slamming down on all four hooves. She was so focused on assisting in this game she was completely unaware of the stallion until he voice broke through her consciousness.

She spun in the snow, ice crystals spraying off her. Her breathing was heavy with exercise. Breathlessness did not stop her from stepping forward, her head pulling up proudly.

Stallions come here at their own risk! Or so was her misguided interpretation. A mischievous grin spread across the maiden's face as she trotted forward. Unless you wanted to be a trinket of the Vulcans? Laughing merrily she trotted back to Impa and stood at her side and slightly behind, giving her the respectful lead while still standing proudly beside her. What are we going to do with him? She asked, uncertainty creeping into her voice just enough to tint her otherwise confident tones. Those child's eyes looked up at Impa, expectant and admiring while her head angled just so to and curiously poured from her like water over the falls.

OOC- I am so sorry about any and all weird mistakes. This was written on my phone
