Aithne is a creature that is more pragmatic in most circumstances. When it comes to the rape of one she considers a close confidante, and a friend, well, she is no longer a pragmatic wolf. She is an incensed warrior, ready to complete her retribution of such a dastardly crime. If Malignus had merely attacked one of her wolves it might have simply enraged her but let her keep her sanity about it. Rape, however, was a sin most unforgivable to Aithne for her own memories. Memories she has not shared with any, although she has tread ground with Praetor about it. Still, more to that is the fact that the male had slipped across her borders like a thief in the night and struck her where she was the weakest. Stealing from Raven the sense of security that she had not had since she had disappeared and on the eve of her return. Everything was supposed to be perfect! It was supposed to be a happy, joyous occasion! Now she was left with a Consul, a friend, who carried the bastard of a male who saw fit to take for himself what was not his. To take Raven's innocence and leave behind a terrible reminder.

And so it is that the call of Malum has Aithne lunging through weeds, changing direction mid-hunt. Who has he brought back? She had heard rumors he was searching for Malignus and while she didn't know the male well enough on sight, she had a firm grip on his stench, but she thought it likely the male had slipped their clutches. For now. Gone to ground like the mole he was. It would have been the smart move but apparently her Minos-in-waiting was a clever male and adept at completing a task as monumental as the one he had set for himself.

So the moment her dark emerald eyes fall on the filthy male, covered in algae and dirt and stinking to high heavens, she feels her hackles rise. The voice of Avery does not even draw her gaze but she hears her speak to the prisoner, her Commandant likely thrilling in what would happen. They all expected Aithne to come in calm and demand punishment but at this moment she cannot think clearly because beneath all the grime and that nastiness that Malignus dares cover himself up with - and he did a fine job trying, what with the stench and his attitude? - she can smell the faintest scent of the one who had raped Raven.

It sends her into a frenzy and she is running straight at him, ears laced back and broad body a boulder that plans to crash into him. No doubt Malum or Avery would block his escape from her - she was counting on it. As she nears him she lunges, planning to slam his body into the ground with her much larger one. Sure, he will have ample room to bite her legs if he desires, her shoulder and neck even, but she will have her revenge. If she gets him down she plans to bite around the base of his neck, to grip and shake and tear into those muscles that run down around his shoulder. She wants to cause him pain, to make him bleed. Blood doesn't lie - it cannot hide behind words or scent.

She does not snarl, not once does she make a noise, merely the sound of her large body attacking his, large paws trying to push his neck down as she tears and rips. And if he manages to sidle out from beneath her and escape the worst of it she will move with him, trying to bite at his side, claw at his legs, and only after a few minutes of this will she calm enough to push away from him - roughly- and stand with tail straight behind her, breathing deep and ragged and staring at him with merciless eyes. "Well done Malum," she wheezes, not even looking at the pale brute who had accomplished this, still staring straight at Malignus. "I ought to kill you," she spits out, finally a snarl ripping out of her and tail rising once more. "Avery, what do you propose?"

(OOC: Malignus can weasel his way out of the attacks, btw, and Aithne can calm before hurting him if you want, just threw the other in there in case you didn't mind him getting hurt a little bit (nothing super major). After all he is smaller and as such, quicker, than her ;) She is just very angry hehe!)
