Tonight she is grateful to finally be rid of the parasites that had plagued her for so long. Her hunger had increased far more than it should and she was not pleased with the extra amount of weight she had to carry on a daily basis. Some wolves produced at younger ages so that by the time they were well seasoned they wouldn’t have to care about carrying on a bloodline. Unlike most females she was not one that was all eager to wave her tail to the side and let any male come and produce a family. The only reason why she allowed Chael was because of their bond and the promise she had made to him and Andras. That if she gave the weakling a child she would not only be responsible of it, but Chael would never again approach her. When he went back on his word she decided to give him the ultimate punishment appeased to feel their bond wither away as soon as his last breath was given. When she was wandering alone she did not mind having a one night stand with a healthy specimen his silence and his zero prying made him a wolf she did not mind sharing company with at all. Instincts had demanded that she allow Tobias what he wanted to allow a moment of bliss between their souls and allow two halves to finally become one for a small moment. It would appear that Fate had brought the two together for a reason and it wasn’t just to carry on the role of providing terror to all, but rather provide the two a chance to have solace in each other’s company.
There was a steady pounding sensation that squeezed her soul and it would increase each time Tobias came closer and closer to their home. Flare had gone off somewhere and Tobias allowed her the opportunity to be alone...for a while. Lifting her dial she noticed his familiar dark figure coming through the entry way his growl rumbling within his chest. Jaws would part to show off her sharp teeth while her ears pressed forward at attention hardly backing down as he continued to step closer. She was not one to submit to him and even though he wouldn’t submit to her they would both be standing on equal ground...whether they liked it or not. She had heard Jaidah’s call and she would not allow in sort of default to the challenge. Lowering her head she shakily took a few steps her form battered and exhausted from the extensive labor. A low snarl crawled from her throat as she headed towards the entrance leaving their children exposed pressing her chest into his own as her head leaned over against his shoulder, demanding he let her pass and go after Jaidah. She was weak from delivering their children, but it was her role to protect them and the rest of the members of their pack from any threats, and she was willing to put herself at risk for them. Feeling his own form press her back as he attempts to move forward she unwillingly steps backwards , away from him, and only stops moving until she is standing behind the pups.
Sapphire eyes narrowed as she noticed his façade begin to contort into a frustrated and confused manner, her own head tilted slightly curious as to why he has such a look on his face. Half torn ear flicks as she hears that harsh whisper implying her to wonder just why he wouldn’t think they were in the first place. Lowering her head she would gently press one side of her muzzle on the girl and the other side of the muzzle on the boy making sure their scents were held. A low beckoning growl was given to her imprint to allow him permission to come closer. When he was close enough she would extend her neck out and gently press one side of the muzzle into his own, rubbing it against his own, and doing the same thing along the other side of his muzzle, so that Tobias would inhale both their scents. Teaching her dark behemoth that they were indeed his, but more importantly, they were theirs. His job was to protect them not destroy them. With a firm nod of her head she would whisper gently, slowly, allowing him to listen to her words.
“Yes, they are yours. A son and a daughter...healthy and strong like their Father- which is you.”
Long legs continue to shake unable to keep herself up any longer. Unable to keep herself standing she slowly began to lower herself to the ground curling around the two pups as they quickly sought comfort in her warmth. Their soft mews ceased to be heard as they buried their heads and grabbed a teat to nurse themselves. Long ebony tail snaked along their tiny forms to provide them more warmth. Her dial would raise as she titled her head to the side I beckoning gesture welcoming his presence. It pleased her to feel this pulsating feeling within herself at his presence, pleased to show her counterpart the lives they had made. It was never her intention to become a Mother again, but she could not stop nature just as she could not tear herself away from his soul. She had accepted it and in time perhaps he could accept the creatures they had created. Her time with her companion taught her that he was quite possessive insanely obsessed with owning what was his and she pondered at the idea that perhaps if he named one of his own then it would slowly teach him to possess and keep safe their children. Softly she speaks knowing he did not take kindly to words, her rhythm was slow allowing him to take the time to try and understand what she was saying.
“Tobias, they need a name. Every wolf needs a name, something to call themselves...like your name is Tobias.”
Lifting her long tail above the silvery and smoky children she revealed the two pups now curling around one another, quite content with their stomach full. Gently her muzzle would brush over both pups her pink tongue wiping from their head until the top of their head. Sapphire eyes moved to see the familiar reptilian green embers as the gleamed brightly against his ebony pelt and the darkness of their cave. Gently she nudged the female pup causing the girls’ mouth to open as she let out some sort of mixture of a hiss and cry as she dove her head down against her brothers displeased at being touched. A rumble could heard in Tick Tock’s throat, a pleasing sound as she titled her weight back to expose the pups to their Father so that he may look upon them. He may not hold any emotion for her, or for their children, but he deserved a chance tonight. Gently she speaks again in the same manner as before watching her companion carefully.
“The girl is named Nevermore. Would you like to name the boy?”
