Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

"Your name shall be carved into legend once my Sword has carved into your chest." ~Song Of Achilles

I know I have family members in Glorall but I never put expectations on any of them to come see me at the borders. Why should I? They owe nothing to me just because we share blood and I know we have a rather large family. Not everyone has to be close. And so when I smell the familiar cologne of Haziel, I can't help but smirk a little, glad that I'll at least get on a name to name basis with a sibling I probably didn't talk to much at all if any when he was in Diveen. I did tend to stick to Heyel and focus on my training once I turned one which means all the siblings who came after me just wasn't on my radar. But training with Heyel has led me to where I am today so I am thankful for that. I don't expect my siblings to be jealous though I know there's probably more than enough who are. Some always wanted what was mine by nature but when you're the first of something, it just makes you a target. I learned that all by myself. Heyel would be proud.

I know stories of my other siblings, that not all were blessed with health when they were born. Haziel is the blind one, I believe. I don't hold it against him or anything. Why should I? In fact, I'm just sorry that he'll never get to see his family and know what we look like. But at least he can still hear and speak. That way, we can at least keep in touch. I bet it was hard for him growing up, having to learn how to navigate through unknown lands all by himself. And then he did the brave thing and decided to rehome himself even after learning the lands of Diveen. So he had to redo the whole process of learning to navigate. But I am glad he found a good home. I'm sure Eden will be sure to take care of him since he did come from his own home land. As long as Haziel is happy here, then I'm happy for him and wish him well.

When he comes into view, I smile even though he can't see it and wag my tail, letting him speak first. I laugh at his words and shake my head. "I don't expect that, Haziel, though if it rolls nicely off the tongue, don't hesitate. I'm just glad to be home." I grin playfully and laugh a little again to let him know I'm joking since he can't see my grin. I know I've always been full of myself but I consider that part of my charm. "What have you been up, brother? Gotten used to the sea breeze yet?" My features soften. "You should come see mom and dad when you get a chance. I'm sure they'd love to see you." I let that sink in, my gaze moving only when I catch a whiff of Eden coming toward us, my tail wagging again in welcome as the alpha comes into view. I'm determined to make this visit go better than the last one with Guardian. I don't mind that he was reluctant to make a deal with Maddox since any alpha should be cautious of a new deal with a new alpha. I get that so I'll play along.

I expect to deem myself worthy of Diveen. I know it may be a disappointment to some that I didn't have to fight for the throne and then Covet died before we could fight over what he did to Kane but I'm sure challengers will come in time. I don't mind the wait either, especially now with Haziel here. At least I have someone to talk to. It seems Glorall has become more lively since the last time I was here. The air smells of fresh births and new puppies and I envy him all the new life. Of course Diveen has some litters being born too, my own included. I wonder if Eden is a father yet. Does he even have a mate? I can sense Eden close by but he waits before approaching, probably giving me and Haziel more time to visit. When I do hear his voice, I bow my head in respect and greeting, giving him a grin. "Thank you; yes it was. Congratulations on your last fight. I hope it was an easy victory." I take a seat across from him, leaving myself in a neutral position where I can look between him and Haziel easily in case my brother wants involvement in the conversation.

"I'm sure you know why I'm here but I'll say it anyway. I'd like to speak terms of an alliance between Diveen and Glorall. We are close neighbors and you yourself was born and raised in Diveen. There must be ties there. You are a friend of the family and your pack is growing and thriving. Ava was always considered special to Heyel. I offer sanctuary to you and your pack and with due cause, my warriors and assassins are at your disposal should they ever be needed. Same for healers. Anything else you would ask of me?" I tilt my head, giving him my full undivided attention.
