Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Tithe
To take what I'm owed.
Pay me my dues.

His attention had been on her, only on her. The grass, ground, wolves and world around them did not matter. Just her. She spun to face him and the large male slipped slightly when he came to a stop, too taken aback by her to be focusing on the footwork and finesse he would have had in battle or in a hunt. Dark grey eyes watched her as she studied him. His tail moved just so when he got her name. He felt like a little more of him had been found.

As she spoke to him though, he found himself at a loss. His life had been spent serving those who ruled over him, ordered him, trained and otherwise controlled him. As so, as she seemed to investigate him by walking around and observing his features he stood at attention, his head lowered just enough to show submission to her but remain proud and strong in himself. It was almost habit to stand as he was, as he had stood before the queen of Spirane, he now stood before Pandora. Her words confused him even more and made him mentally panic, though it did not show on his face.

Of course he did not try to lure women! There were no other women in his life to lure! Never did he intend to attract the attention of others. All his life he had been so singularly focused, training himself to be what his mother had wanted him to be. Now he was what Pandra would ask him to be, if she asked him to be anything.

Tithe’s confusion did not play on his face. Life had taught him to hide his uncertainty when he could. Though he was young, and he showed his youth every once and awhile, he did also manage to keep his composure as well.

“I…” It did not mean he knew what to say though, nor how to answer her questions. “I don’t. Not ever. I was just watching over my friend and you caught my eye.” He looked at her with his steel grey gaze. As hard as life had been, he looked at her with open honesty and the innocent hopeful youth looked out at her. “I couldn’t just let you disappear.” He fell silent for a moment, realizing he had not answered her first question. What could he offer her? What did he have to lay at her feet other than his life? A life he had already sworn to the pack of Spirane. “I don’t know what I can give you, or what you would want from me. But whatever it is, you need only ask.
