Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Luk
(Three) (No Imprint) (No Mate) (Glorall)

Finally free of the face crab, Luk could actually focus on the wolf who came to his rescue. Only now he was seeing double. There were two of them but they were not identical. Mainly, because the one who spoke first was a girl. She noticed easily the make he had tried to put on and called his bluff. The tri-colored boy gave an embarrassed smile and dropped the obvious act. He couldn’t really hide who he was after all and the way he romped around the beach didn’t help him much either. ”Was I that bad? Guess I’ll have to work on that more. Anyway, my name is Luk. Who are you two?”

It was clear that they were related (siblings or cousins maybe?) as they looked a lot alike. The girl didn’t say much after that, but the boy gazed down at the red monster he had managed to catch under his paw. He said the animal needed to be punished and Luk couldn’t help but agree. All he had done was try to sniff the beast. It wasn’t like he was attacking it. It had snapped hard on his muzzle, causing it to bleed slightly, and all for what? Not only that, but the wolf wanted to know what the thing tasted like. The food living within Glorall all tasted so different than anything in the forests of Taviora.

He gazed up at Elohim with a smile on his face. ”What kind of punishment do you mean? We can eat it. Let’s pull off those claws first though. I don’t want to get snapped by one of those again. Have you ever eaten this kind of thing before? I wonder what it tastes like.”

Truth be told, Luk was fascinated with death. He was curious about how it worked, why it happened, and what happened when one died. He liked having the power of life and death. He could choose not to eat the crab, let it scuttle away to live another day. But that wasn’t going to happen. He wanted his revenge on the beast, teach it to ever mess with a wolf.
