Waiting with what seemed to her like bated breath, Reian watched closely as he gave her a smile that seemed to melt her very heart, along with the words 'anything you wish' before he stretched down at a recline in front of her. It just so happened that the length of his own lean legs was just enough so that the tips of large, cream paws brushed deftly against her own. The warmth that she immediately felt there was both jolting and a pleasant, casual thing that grew with intensity. Particularly when she followed his slight movement and not only affirmed their paws touching but slid her slightly smaller and more feminine shaped one atop his own. And though his next words were not exactly a question, she would give him an answer regardless for she genuinely meant what she had to give him. "I promise anything you wish." He was indeed correct in thinking her rather direct and forward with her manners, but it was just the way she had always been. The teasing tone that accompanied her words was new, however, but something that she found herself liking.

In truth, it was an immense relief to her that she was feeling such a way. She missed her Father terribly, and always would, but finding Ryker here and now reminded her that she was not alone. She would never have to be alone. Reian had not been happy very much in these last long few months, and every day has felt like just another nightmare. Today, however, she knows that life has taken a turn and that she was entirely meant to return home. He is her purest proof, plain and simple, and even as she gazes upon him a warm and happy smile is caressing its way across her features and lighting her face up. If Sen could see her, he himself would smile, and so would Roamin, Hush, Mirellie, Namira, Calyx and all the rest of her family. That is the truth that she so chooses to believe, and it is a comfort of her very own.

The way he begins has her creamy beige white tail with its golden tip thumping the ground once and then twice, and a barely silent chuckle dripping from her jaw. She's not laughing at him, but more so enjoying his mannerisms and overall demeanor. He seems so carefree to Reian, and he feels so very like a breath of fresh air, or a drink of cold and crisp stream water. Already she knows she adores him, and will continue to for days to come, and she is more than ready for every word he has to offer. Ryker speaks of his brother and his brothers mate, as well as the ocean, and she knows that these must be dear to him for him to have mentioned them. From far away her dark violet eyes have spied the ocean but she has never had a really up close and personal experience with it. She thinks perhaps though that with him, she might be so very inclined to.

The smile he gives her just before giving her her que to start has her heart momentarily lodged in her throat. Taking a few long moments to compose herself, she wonders to herself where to possibly begin.. before she does just that. "A year ago this Autumn, my Father Sen, who was The Medicine Wolf of Taviora, decided it was time to leave. I did not want to leave my forest home and my family-" she paused, only briefly long enough for violet eyes to glance down toward the earth between them and her paw that lay atop of his, before back up to find his deep deep blue ones in which she found the strength for her voice again "and you, but I could not let him go alone. My family, you see.. has become very small, and though I know my littlest sister and brother to be alive and well, my Father was all that was left otherwise. And he had been sad for so very long.. I couldn't let him be so alone and so sad.." The words are slowly trickling to a stop as her voice leaves her and there is a noticable tremor in her voice. Desperately she tries to hold her gaze even with his own but when the lovely sight of his pale visage begins to blur she has to dip her head down.

Reian is not one ashamed of her tears; she is however ashamed of knowing how sad Sen had been until the end. Ashamed of feeling both hopeless and helpless to it and watching it consume him bit by bit and piece by piece. At the end of it all, in her heart of hearts she knew what had killed her Father and what had taken him away so quickly. A broken heart was often times mended and fixed, but there were certain circumstances where such a thing was not the case. Regardless of his skill as a healer, and what he had passed down to his eldest daughter, they were both unable to save him. The golden and cream wolf is an open book to her imprint right now, but she would truly wish to be before no other wolf, for no other wolf might understand what exactly it was she was feeling. He had mentioned only his brother and his mate, and so perhaps that was his only family as well. When she managed to make the fat tears stop rolling down her face, and coaxed her voice back to her she had more to say and a question of her own.

"My Father passed away while we were away, Ryker, and I do not regret following him out of Moladion. I gave him the best burial I could and left my thoughts and love with him there.." A weak smile adorns her features, one that is tired and sad but lingering with happiness as well. For even through the turmoil of emotions tearing through her very being, she can still feel the fact of his presence and the way he soothes her. Much like how he spoke of the ocean soothing him, so too does he have such an affect on her. "Your family.. is it only your brother and his mate? Do you have a Mother, or a Father?... or mate?" Reian did not feel at all that his paws would have touched her own had he already mated, but she went about her life doing her best not to assume too much. And beside- it was a good moment for her to learn more as she could, and to watch the emotions across his face and for whatever he might have to give away to her.
