Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Eden seems pleased to have Bellatrix here so I'm happy to help out any way I can. He seems to be watching me too and I try to stand my ground and look more confident than I've been around him in the past. I do feel more comfortable in one on one situations but at least this time I can get to know more about Eden as well. He seems to be watching me as I watch her, like he's looking for signs that I might pick up on something he doesn't and I feel more confident to know that he's depending on me like that.

I know that I can't be the only one trying to be his diplomat but I am making an effort here so hopefully he sees that. I'm going to keep trying to meet new wolves and get my face out there more. That should show Eden I mean business.

He lets her know that familys are not everything to him but he is curious of her parents. He then circles back around to her name and I forget that he wasn't here when she told me. I remain silent to let her answer the questions before her. She seems intelligent enough to observe the relations between Eden and I. I can only guess what she must be thinking but I am hoping to make a new friend today too.

Her answer only makes my mind buzz again as I think back on the information I know. "You must be talking about Judila. I only know some of the alphas who held position over it though I believe most were female. The only male I recall is Abraxus. Is this your grandfather?" I wag my tail, a little proud of myself to know the history of Moladian. I learned a lot in my time away and my mother was here through most of it so she often told us stories of the old river pack. I wonder who her mother is.

She answers the questions then, confirming my question about Abraxus being her grandfather and I feel more accomplished that I could pull back on my knowledge for that. I know of Lucian too, having looked up on all the old packs of Moladian before the sky fell. She says her mother's name but that doesn't ring a bell so much. I look at Eden, curious to see if he knows of her mother. She gives her name again and I smile, glad that things are going so well.
