Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Jaidah regarded him as he spoke, his words wise and well put. She wondered what brand of wolf she was dealing with. Obviously, he had a brain, to have heard and retorted so quickly. An easy smile comes across her battered face. "Perhaps, I should speak with the beach master about such things as sanctuary for me and mine. We are of different tastes, our strengths as loners made us near invincible as a pack once combined. He would have warriors and killers at his disposal, but I have a dream to be queen, not simply follow another about. I am no submissive." Jaidah smirks at the last, her eye sliding to the ground.

She thought it over, her eye moving back to his face once more. "I have one more try in me before I am ready to stop. I will always want leadership of a pack, it burns in me the way fire burns through forests. Perhaps something can be arranged and we can find a compromise. I am on my way to win my home back, to complete my dream. If it doesn't work out, you will be the first pack I run to. Glorall has healers, right?" That halved ear twists back as a brilliant smile lights up her face. But for the scars, she would be utterly beautiful. Maybe Tristan could set a meeting up soon for them to talk, before her long walk to Asteraia's border.
