Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

>>She moves with a ghostly grace across the sand by the river. Her single son was safe in Tavoria, no doubt being spoiled rotten by one of the caretakers. He had been the only pup born last spring, and now he was nearing a year old. The time had flown by quickly, her little Poltergeist growing rapidly into a fledgling wolf. Taji was his age when her own mother had been eaten by the massive reptiles of Iromar. Lurid had been only trying to save her, but instead the pale woman had died. Taji had felt guilty ever since.

Today, she was taking a well deserved bath, the early parts of fall being the warmest. Her son had dumped honey in her pelt, then she had tripped and rolled in leaves. Now, she was clean and honey free, the scent still clinging to her silvery pelt. Black booted legs take her gracefully across the sand of the fields, pale bodice now darkened and wet gleamed as she shook out the water. Bright eyes gaze around, wondering if anyone was near enough to speak with.

His back and around his eyes are dark, but the rest of him is white. She finds the color of him intriguing, and he seems to have heard her as she walked, so Taji took the bait of company. Moving in, she smiles, hypnotic eyes shimmering in the sun as she stops a respectful distance away.

"Hello, how are you?" She asks politely in greeting, her monochrome tail waving behind her. To speak with strangers could be dangerous, but she felt nothing in the way of threatened. Taji was not one to fight, but she would if she had to. For her, words were power, but one had to have brawn to back it up. Some wolves could call bluffs, some animals never cared. Her mother learned that, and Taji was one to learn from others. She waits for the response of the male, her multi-colored eyes on him as she studied him. She didn't want to make him nervous, but his coloring was striking and drew her eyes. He seemed in need of company anyway.
