Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Her bed was in the dunes, so when the small voice and Eden's rung out, the sounds of exertion being made and japes directed at others, Apollymi rose from her sandy bed and followed the sounds. Shaking the sand from her fur, the dark woman moved in silence until she found them. The sight shocked her beyond belief, and gave voice to those whisperings of doubt she had in her mind.

She watched as the trio did some kind of exercise. Eden with his two small pups on the dune, one had a paw that was noticeably twisted, looking as painful as her frozen vocals felt when she tried to speak. There was potential in the boy, his leg could only be a distraction, and she did need a good apprentice if she ever wished to be wildfire. She had nothing to tap on, and so she opted instead to simply move next to Eden and watch the exercise.

Glacial eyes appraised the boy as he moved up the dune with the girl snapping on his heels. Clacking her teeth, Apollymi chuckled silently as she watched, their banter familiar even if it did carry veiled threats. She thrust her nose into Eden's shoulder, a nudge to gain his attention if her presence hadn't already done so. Snipping her teeth together she huffed, a signal of hers for one word. Mine it said, and she nodded her head to the boy climbing the dune, a request to train him herself. If she could learn to be strong with her slight frame and smaller stature, surely she could teach the young boy with the twisted paw to be faster and stronger. He showed promise, despite his disability, as she had done herself in spite of her inability to speak. Searching her king's face for denial or acquiescence, Apollymi waits and lets her icy blue gaze be directed at Abel once more.
