Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Luk
(Three) (No Imprint) (No Mate) (Glorall)

Winter was almost here. The waters that splashed on the sandy beach were much colder than then had been all year long. This was going to be Luk’s first winter within Glorall and he couldn’t help but be excited. He loved the colder months, thanks to his thick fur, and couldn’t wait for the snow to cover the land. He wondered what the beach would look like when it was white and frozen. Did the ocean freeze during winter? Maybe he could run over the ice to the little island he always wanted to visit. He stood on the edge of a sandy cliff, gazing at the island as the sun started to set. One day he would swim there. He would find out what it was like. The only thing stopping him was the fact that… he didn’t have anyone to go with.

A sad sigh left Luk’s mouth as he thought more on this. Since he had come to Glorall, he hadn’t made any friends to share in his adventures. The only wolf who might even consider him a friend was Eden, but even then the alpha was too busy to do much with. He had met Nemesis and Elohim, but they were a strange pair of cubs who seemed to exclude others from the clique. He didn’t have any family here and for the first time since coming to Glorall, the tri-colored boy felt homesick. He missed his siblings, the silent group who he loved and would protect with his life. But, chances were, they didn’t share the same feelings. He had left them behind in Taviora. Why would they ever want him back with them?

No, he had left for a reason. The descendant of Devil May Cry had a goal and he would reach it one day. Eden was his only hope and he chose to stay with the strong alpha. Luk laid down with his front paws hanging over the side of the cliff. Below him, the waves crashed against the wall aimlessly. Hoping something would happen soon, the pup watched the sun set alone.
