Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

This is my Fate.

It wasn’t long before the demon marked male was rewarded for his patience and good nose. His tail gave a few flicks and Haziel thought he has properly traced back the smell of the Glorall male. The brute sounded around the same size as himself and the degree of musk as well indicated his own size too. Being blind had its advantages, not that many could see through to working though such a ‘weakness’ such as this. His nose was more keen than any other and his ears more attuned to any noise that most would ignore. Filtering it all was the trick. What was important, what was not. That was what took the time to hone while he was growing up. Haziel was much older now though, much wiser and he was far from the lonely child growing in Diveen learning healing from a very patient wolf.

Now though Haziel smell’s the wolf coming even closer, the paw steps louder until finally the stop. He knows he’s being looked at, even if he couldn’t see it. Surely scrutinized for his strange position. He lifted his head then keeping his nose working so he could accurately pin point where the wolf was at all times and know if anyone else was around as well. He knew of this wolf’s hate for the angels there would be no good coming from him being honest. Who was he? What an open ended question.

”Haziel, the demon wolf of Glorall.” He looked the part of the demons, he had been told, scrutinized many times for it. He hadn’t lived or even visited Diveen since he first left as a three year old and that had been four years ago now, however he wasn’t a fool to think that his family’s scent still may linger in his fur. Rumors were strong things though, and perhaps if Zeus didn’t like angels perhaps he may favor the ‘demons’ that still lived in Iromar. Haziel never had gone to Iromar. Not a single time in his life but he had met a true demon or two. Of course he couldn’t tell what similarities or not he had. He was blind. He just knew his fur color was the same as that of what wolves called demons and many times had been asked or called one.

Just a strange coincidence of genetics that he appears this way. However he was honest for the most part. Now it was time for him to ask the same. ”And you?” Just as blunt just as neutral he had no qualm with this male he wasn’t here to fight or stop him if it was who he believed it to be. Haziel just wanted to chat and that was all.

To see with eyes unclouded by hate.
Haziel.
