His groan is a good sign. It means that he lives and that he is not stuck in some unconscious state which would pose a severe problem. Honestly she is surprised that he wakes, fearing that he would slip into the oblivion of death. Even as a healer there was some wounds that one could not come back from. So for now she remains positive - well, as positive as Ravenna can possibly be. The moment he opens his eyes she stares at him with that unyielding expression, more a glare really, because he has to understand that this was his fault. It was probably not a good calling to be in, a healer with such an attitude as hers, but it is the one she had nonetheless. If wolves would just PAY attention this could have been avoided. Then again if that other wolf had just been put down then it also would be a non-issue. It was a subject of cup half full or empty with no discernible answer.
He is disoriented and that sends a fizzle of alarm down her spine. It was not uncommon to have such uncertainty after a traumatic head wound but it also meant that it was possible there was more extensive damage than a simple concussion. If his brain was bleeding or swelling there wasn't much she could do, although the flower she had set aside was intended to help swelling and headaches. Because she would bet her left paw that he was gonna be hurting soon! The foolish boy had the nerve to try and get up and she immediately places her paw back on his shoulder, forcing him down in a semi-gentle manner.
"Sit down fool before you fall and finish yourself off." Her words are harsh and unrepentant as she eyeballs him. He cuts off his words and she frowns hard at him, trying to decide if he was just confused or addled permanently.
Then, with a huff, she turns back and grabs the Skullcap between her small front teeth and lays then down at his maw.
"Eat these. Now." She has control over this situation and he would do as she said. Damn if he wasn't a lucky dog but she wasn't very happy, her body still desiring a nap.
"Funny, don't think I asked a question," she snaps back at him, grumpy at her remembered nap, and she stares him down until she is certain he will take her medicine.
"The skullcap will help with the headache and swelling of the brain, if you have one up there. I'm not so certain. Anyways, I've packed your wounds and the blood seems to have slowed significantly. It will hurt but I will re-dress them here soon. I need you to get up, we need to get back to my meadow so I can keep an eye on you. You can rest there," and so could she. She was nothing if not a task master, grabbing her beaver bag and carefully holding it so the herbs would be wrapped inside. She then moves to his side, silently berating him for taking so long as she waits for him to rise, offering her own stalwart side as a travois. Getting him to the meadow would be the safest option for him and then they could both rest... even if he wasn't technically supposed to sleep.
