...and I'm every one of them
The small girl moved quietly from the den she called home towards the sounds of the ocean. Her mother had improved much in seasons since her greatest child was brought into the world; not Eden, Ayal, Anselm, Esdeath, Abel, or Zerachiel, but Keturah, the embodiment of wrath. One day, the young daughter of Ava would surpass even her older brother Eden in greatness, forcing him to bow before her as all wolves should. Keturah could already see the pride in her mother's copper eyes when she looked upon her last born child. Of course she would be proud, the small girl had turned out better than perfect where her siblings were all defect filled parasites, with the exception of Esdeath but she never did anything but take and was therefor a parasite like their brothers.
Ava required no assistance and therefore her youngest daughter had no reason to stay. Her legs grew longer and longer each day and it was apparent that when she was full grown she would be the fastest of all her siblings, for now though they were lanky and awkward, but they did their job in carrying her where she needed to go with a certain grace. The sun touched her granite pelt, its warmth ever fleeting as winter drew closer and closer. As she drew closer to the ocean, the roar of the waves and the wind began to get more intense. The ground turned to sand beneath her paws and the sound of seagulls screaming greeted her as she made it to the beach.
The wind was more fierce here, chilling the air substantially but Keturah did not feel it through her fur. Golden eyes scanned the area, starting with the beach where several seals slumbered and then moving to the water where she thought she saw a shark fin, though the waves quickly cut her view and when they diminished it was gone. Slowly she moved to a sand dune away from the seals that hardly noticed her presence at all, climbing to the top with ease to lay herself down. The sand was warm, it would make her dirty but the warmth was far more tempting, and so Keturah curled up tightly and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. It was rare to see the girl so peaceful, and so whoever was unfortunate enough to stumble upon her and wake her up would not like the results.
