Over time Carnifex's wounds had begun to close but they weren't nearly to the point of WHAT did this male think he was doing? When he had come upon me I had been flustered, at first, turning on him in startled fright. I had expected he would leave me be since Carnifex's strong scent was all over me, a measure of his protection afforded to me. I was small, much more dainty than many other wolves and certainly more so than this male before me. He was huge and white and he didn't seem a bit fazed by my reaction. In fact he basically told me I was going to Iromar with him. I had stood my ground for a few moments, staring at him in surprise, and then I had laughed, mocking, and shaking my head. "My brother sent you?" I said in jest but he didn't play along.

It was only then that I realized he was serious. That made me angry, my ears snapping back and lips peeling to reveal my pathetically tiny canines. They were beautiful though, just not nearly thick enough to create the kind of havoc I bet his could. "No," I said, but he paced back and forth and I begun to worry he was going to hurt me. I darted away from him with the intent to find Carnifex but I was cut off each time, out-maneuvered, and I growled in frustration, snapping at him but not nearly close enough to do any damage.

This went on forever it seemed and I was progressively pushed further and further away from the crags and towards the borders of Iromar. When I realized, finally, that my growling and snapping wasn't going to get me anywhere I turned with a huff and took off at a dead run into Iromar. My brother would sort this out or Carnifex would get me. It was only as my paws hit the sludge close to the swampy area that I came to an abrupt halt, ears back and staring at the river with trepidation.
