She wasn’t asleep, instead laying inside Galileo’s den that he had welcomed her into. Her tail flicked somewhat impassively within bright aquamarine and silver flecked eyes looking out at the stormy night sky and watching as her imprint felt nervous. She felt his discomfort, his worry inside herself and outside the den she could see a red haze as if blood filled the story sky. It was something only she could see. Sleepless as she was she often seen things when she went without sleep for a while. Like her father though Galileo helped ease her into sleep more often than not but the feeling inside of her and outside had made it impossible this day. The forboding feeling had been hanging over the pack like a cloud all day and now she knew why. However the silver-russet girl could do little to do about it and was rather impassive when it came to leadership. She didn’t know much about Jaidah or the Monster, Impa, Galileo called her. However, it seemed that Galileo much more preferred the current ruler over the last so that was how she felt as well.
She wished he would relax and calm himself she watched him pace a little before finally coming back inside and laying down with her again. She rolled pressing her silver fur into his brown hoping even if he thought she was sleeping that the touch would allow her own calm to seep through and ease his nerves. Together, they waited up together sometimes there was a snarl of rage heard in the storm, or it could have been Embla’s imagination, between the rumbles of thunder and drizzling sounds of rain. It felt like it went on for a long time, but really it was only nerves that seemed to exacerbate the feeling of slowness. A howl came over the lands, that of Galileo’s desired victor and Embla was pleased for him to have what he wanted.
He was very happy and his happiness burst into her like its own crack of lightning. Her tail waved in pleasure at his own, standing on her brindled paws and following him quickly from the den as he dashed out so excitedly. She didn’t run but trotted after him causing her to be a little later than him in arrival. There was already a group gathered, many supporters for the Queen of Asteraia’s victory. She seemed fairly wounded but still in good spirits, already the healer was looking over her. Bright aquamarine eyes took a moment to scan each wolf in turn noticing a brown female who didn’t smell or look familiar. Embla was interested in her particularly but left it for now choosing to place herself instead at her imprint’s side. It was the first interaction she had with the members though she had been staying for a bit of time now. She dipped her head to Impa in respect once she caught her eye then respectfully seated herself and waited in silence.
