Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Tithe
To take what I'm owed.
Pay me my dues.

Tithe smiled at the acceptance of a hunt. He studied the smaller wolf, contemplating how they could work together to take down the best prey for their gathering. To feed the number of attendees they wanted would mean something larger. The two of them could not bring down something huge. If Fritjof were fast, or had endurance they could easily ambush a small hooved creature together using his speed and Tithe’s size. He contemplated a moment about bringing a hunter or two from the packs, just to bring them closer together and to present something more substantial for a gift to the feast. To talk about matters on a full stomach was very different than discussing diplomacy when some were hungry and others were chewing on their meals. Not to mention that squabbles broke out when there was not enough to share amongst all the gaping mouths. One ear flicked at the finishing of his thought. “To feed everyone we may need to bring in a hunter from your or my pack. I believe there were hunters from Taviora in Spirane asking for more help in hunting. We could possibly get more help to bring down something bigger, or possibly just more.” He suggested smoothly, recalling a hunter. “Or if he is back in the forests before I find him you can speak with him for help? Might as well make as many ties as we can.” Tithe knew the importance of peace and respect between individuals. One could not judge an entire pack or group by the actions of one, nor could one believe rumors or judgements passed on by others. History was built and created by words spoken by victors and losers. There were few stories that were seen first hand. He preferred to form judgements and opinions by what he saw and experienced himself. The thought of being able to hunt beside more members of an allied pack excited the knight. To forge the bond himself and being able to know where he stood with the individuals was priceless.

The grey’s large head tilted for a moment as he considered Fritjof’s question. Neutral territory could serve both packs best, but could also open them up for attack or eavesdrop from other packs. It was not that he did not trust the other packs of Moladion, but he would have been wary of being so open. The two lands shared a border, the mountains shifting smoothly into tree blanketed foothills. Comfort brought to each of the packs by the mix of terrains could very easily put them at ease. “I think in the foothills where the mountains meet the forest. Right between our two lands to bring comfort to everyone who attends. One day it could become a gathering space for both our packs.”
