Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I can't help but overhear the sounds of someone talking as I'm walking through Glorall. I know I'm supposed to be getting to know the other pack members and finding out more about them and what they want out of their pack. I have to report back to Eden after all. I'm going to get him all the information I can so I can get the spot that I'm aiming for. As I get closer, I see a darker colored wolf who seems to be eating something. I inhale something like a fresh kill and then maybe some other....not so fresh kills. Is this where he's hiding them all for later? I guess that's not a bad idea. It just doesn't seem all that hygenic.

He seems to be a younger wolf but he's growing faster. He'll be bigger than me easily if he's not already. My ears flicker, unsure whether to approach or not but what's the worst that could happen? He doesn't want to talk and tells me to go away? That's not going to scare me away! And so I square my shoulders and step out so he can see me, even clearing my throat to make sure he knows I'm here. "Uh hi there, I'm Tristan. What's your name?" I take a seat a few feet from him, giving him plenty of space since some wolves are very territorial over their food.
