Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The early morning sky is a dull gray, clouds covering any traces of sun and warmth from the sky, yet even the dreariness of the day cannot bother her, it is a new day and she is about to do something she had never thought she would. With a thick fog just starting to unfurl itself from the lands Blue traipses across the previously unexplored territories slowly taking time to explore her surroundings, sniff at the scents in the area, familiarize herself with her new homelands. Snow was scarce for now but she could smell it in the air, it would be coming soon. All the more reason to find a pack she supposed, not that she needed any more reason then she had. Pack life was the way of life she was accustomed to perhaps it was feeling important, since she had held a higher rank in her last home, or perhaps it was just knowing that she wasn’t alone even most time she preferred her own company. An enigma, she would surround herself with others only to seek out solitude and watch them from afar.

Blue found from a young age she liked to watch others, watch them and figure out what made them tick. If you paid enough attention it was possible to figure out how they ran, what drove them, and if you could figure out the how and what sometimes, just sometimes you could predict their next move and if you could do that…. well the possibilities were endless.Clouds are changing colors by the time she arrives at the pack outskirts, soft pinks and oranges tinting the ones closet to the horizon where the sun rises. Her eyes, completely devoid of any color but the same rich obsidian that coated most of her body stare up at the sky, enraptured for a moment by the beauty only nature could create, maybe it was a sign. Something pretty to let her know she was in the right place. If the alpha proved to be a chauvinistic pig she could always leave, after taking something for her troubles of course.
