Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

A Lily No Longer

From the start, Cassiopa and Lestram were at odds. Though Cassiopa was plain on the outside, her mind was wonderfully beautiful. As soon as she realized that her parents were not sharing the lore and laws of the Gods with her siblings, she had gone to her parents, pleading with them to reconsider. Cassiopa feared the wrath of Tor and Fenris, as she rightly should, and did not want any mistakes to be made, but the word of her father was law both for the pack and the land and Cassiopa's pleas were gone unanswered. Cygnus feared, as her daughter did, but her mate had been warped by the power that he had gained, and so his envy and greed only grow and Cygnus began to cower in his shadow. And once Ameira had been bore, Cygnus had been the Lily no longer, for that honor had been passed down to the pup that she had born.

Cassiopa had put off her betrothal as long as possible, agreeing to be mated only once her young sister, Ameira, was matured for she wanted to protect her, and it was because of this that she came to be the nurse who aided her own mother in the birthing of her last and final litter. It was Cassiopa who first saw the distorted pups, the monsters that her mother and father had been cursed with, and it was Cassiopa who had declared to the family that Cygnus had become barren and that the full wrath of the Gods would soon be raining down upon them. Only after the terrors of their disconduct were born to fruit did her father come to her for advice and counsel, only then was her worth seen at long last. And so it was once more Cassiopa who was figured out a plan to appease the Gods by getting the pack back on course. There would be a year long festival for all royals to be held in their boundaries. Her mother's barrenness would be kept secret, of course. But the presence of the royals would be to not only decide which packs were eligible to claim the new Lily, but to ensure the consummation of Cassiopa to her betrothed, ensure the consummation of Ameira to her betrothed, and to then hold a double wedding should all go well. The participating packs would bring gifts that would feed the host pack, hiding their famine, and it would finally appease the gods. It was a flawless plan.

Once again he was laughing at her, and had she been home she would have thought he was mocking her... There, a lady was to be serious and respectful always in public, as jokes were vulgar things only to be shared by ladies in private with other ladies or family members who knew each other well. If you were a brute, of course, that rule did not apply to you nearly as much, as long as there was not a lass nearby to offend. The fact that Ameira had not only laughed but now was being laughed at was an attestment to the fact that she was no longer in her home lands. The lassie couldn't help but smile, glad to finally at last be free of her home.

Sorry Princess. Couldnít help but reminisce about my puphood. The laddie opposing to her smiled at her as well. I wouldnít claim to know much of this world, but from my wandering Iíve discovered a multitude of packs ruling over very different lands and each individual to its leader. The one I have put most of my sights on is Cold Summers. A pack almost solely inhabited by other kalaks and ruled by them as well. And itís an old bloodline no less.Ameira had never seen a single kalak such as Horizon, and now she was finding out that there was not only a whole pack full of them, but a whole clan of them. How could there be so many of them without her ever having heard of these. Briefly, her anxiety flared and she feared that they would be like her pack, like her clan. That they would end up selling her out and sending her back to her mate. The lassie took a deep breath and exhaled slowly - no one knew her secret - she was safe. Besides, already she could tell that Horizon was nothing like the wolves from her pack. Kalaks must be kind if Horizon was so nice. Surely they would all be like him.

Otherwise, you have Spring Grounds, Aurora Borealis, and Abendrot and Andere Seite as the most filled pack lands. Otherwise you might find yourself in very silent territories. Ones I havenít bothered to explore in more depth. Have you put any thought into joining a pack Lady Ameira? Slowly, she shook her head. "No, Horizon, I had not. I do believe I will stay here, remining in Blossom forest, but I have only jusst decided that now. How do you... join a pain? Does not a lassie have to be betrothed to a laddie in order to join his pack? And are not the packs made up of only family members?" Ameira was about to find out that she was quite the outsider in these lands indeed.
