I hated whoever did this to him. I didn’t care who it was, what standing they had in the world. They could be a god for all I cared I would kill them if I found them and that was that. I know Jaeger has always been different. He was the middle of us brothers at least but he has always been so obverse to Hyrule and I. I keep an eye on both of them as best as I can at least. Hyrule… well I think he sometimes can stick up for himself better than Jaeger ever could and I am not sure how he got into trouble when mom and dad were usually with him and had been living with him for some time. But right now all I could do is focus on well, doing what I can. My mind goes to Grandfather Heyel wondering what he would do, or Mother for that matter. She would want him to go home and I think that’s what I want him to do as well. He at the very least says my name and I am happy he does remember that much. I give a shy of relief before smiling and nodding, ”Yeah, that’s right. Seems like all since wasn’t shook from you at least.”

He continue talking then, saying what the wolf, who looked like our Grandfather had said. I scowl, I mean it says a lot in itself that the one who attacked him spoke latin… it almost guaranteed he was family which would make since I suppose if he did look like our grandfather then… but why would he hurt family? Why would someone from our family do that. I know I have to tell someone, Hyrule and Mother maybe they would have more answers. ”I don’t know about making it stop little brother. I am sorry but I am sure we can find a way somehow.” I don’t want to tell him what it means, not unless he asks for it I. Cleans yourself of foodlessness…. I can’t believe it. That was why they hurt him because he was different? Because he was happy!? I grit my teeth together and shake my head. I thought it one thousand times already and thinking it one thousand more was probably on my mental to-do list…

The second thing he said though it took me a second to remember where he would have heard me say that… Apparently Jaeger has a better memory than I ever gave him credit for or his beat down brought some old ones up. I had no idea at first when I could have directly said that to him and it took several seconds of pondering before I thought about when we were pups. “Jaeger, finally someone showed some bravery.” I translated for him, ”That… was a long time ago I said that. We were all going outside to play while mom and dad were out, or sneaking out so we thought… But grandfather was out there waiting for us. He played with us for a bit until Mom and Dad came back.” That was a long ago we were still in our first spring, I mean long ago for me at least.

However I was happy that he at least believed me when I said that Grandfather would never have hurt us… cause he wouldn’t! And he was dead… That was the end of that. But then Jaeger did ask what the words mean and I frowned. ”They are stupid and they are wrong… Cleanse yourself of your foolishness. Tsch.” My lips curled up slightly at the words even coming from my mouth. ”Forget it if you can… they are wrong.” I say turning to start leading him home.

”Now, lets get going… I promise as long as you are in the pack no one will hurt you less they answer to me or worst off mom… I guess you don’t remember but she killed some loner that attacked her and our sister Ninevah… I am sure she would for you too and I would.” I will I reminded myself, walking down the path slowly looking back to see if my brother was following. ”You coming?”
