Hey, beauty supreme
Yeah, you were right about me
But can I get myself out from underneath
This guilt that will crush me?
It was inevitable. She would have to come back to her former land. She would have to make amends with her past in order to move forward. That was the way of things for the dark mute. Caligula had made amends with her mother and father before raising her own family. She would have to ask for forgiveness from Tesseract, from her beloved children. She knew Maradona had followed her footsteps into the wilderness and when she had left her daughter, she knew that Maradona would be happy and thrive where she was. If nothing else, she knew Maradona to be capable and a survivalist.
She walks her way towards Glorall. Her head up, tail slightly elevated over her haunches. As she feels the dirt give way to the sandy soil she trots. She doesn't stop to smell the markers at the edge. Why should she? It was her home after all. She makes her way back to the den that she and Tesseract had shared. To the den that her second litter had been born into. She breaths in that brackish air, and the memories rush back into her head, and into her heart. She was amazed that she remembered the small trails, that not much had changed in the years she had been gone. There were a few trees that had fallen down, but otherwise not much seemed to change.
She slows as she get towards the den, her nose dropping to the ground for the first time in this whole ordeal. Her eyes widen in confusion. She smelled only Cersei. Where was Tesseract? Her face sweeps from side to side. She steps towards the den, and there was nothing left but a hollow trace of her other half. Surely Tesseract has just traded this den with another? Confusion painted on her face was now interrupted by the footsteps of another. The white fur on her scruff raises, making her already bulky frame seem even bigger as she slowly turns and looks to who had joined her on this strange endeavor, ready to greet a family member or defend her home from a precieved intruder.
