It was the first time leaving the land of her birth. Moonstone had managed to find herself wandering down the mountain and arriving in the woodland a little ways from its base. Her tail wagged excitedly as her multi-toned tan and russet form was jogging through the snow. She looked like estival in the winter snow, bright reds and tans making her look like a little sun against all the grey of the lands. It was so big out here! And amazing! She knew Samus had left the lands before, because she was a rebel and did what her parents told her not to do, but still! She was excited to see the loner lands for herself. She had grown a lot over her first year, and winter so far was her favorite season. It was really quiet out here too! Maybe it was because there was so much space and not a lot of wolves like at home. You could find quiet places, sure but with as many wolves and children you usually have someone passing by you before too long.

It was very different between her and the older pup, near adult she as approaching now. Things were very different. While the majority of her pack was indeed family they were mostly things like cousins rather than siblings. Her aunt was the ruler, her children the heirs, though which of her many Moonstone didn’t know nor did it matter. She stopped then in her forward march when she saw a wolfess sitting in a clearing all alone. So this was a loner? She wondered if they were nice! She knew not all were nice cause her sister recently been attacked by one, a pup even! So she was nervous but she didn’t seem bad? She wouldn’t hurt her right? Her tail wagged as she walked forward seeing the sadness in her eyes Moonstones ears fell back.

”Why are you sad? Are you lost?” The little girl asked tilting her head, tail waving lightly behind her as brightly colored eyes looked up at the other wolfess. She didn’t understand loners, not fully at least. ”Can I help? I am Moonstone! I come from the mountain there!” She said cheerfully looking towards the tall peaks of Spirane. She wanted to help out if she could of course! It was rooted in her very being to want to be aid others whenever she could. Be the peacekeeper and someday she wanted to be a healer too! She wanted to be a Shaman like her Grandmother MoonGlow and it was already in the small girls nature to be kind and caring just as her grandmother had been. She would continue the legacy to the best of her ability and Moonstone didn’t have a second thought in mind other than talking with the older pup. She didn't seem dangerous, and part of Moonstone wanted to believe that the young boy who attacked her sister could be helped, but her uncle didn't see so sure. Right now though she just hoped that this wolfess would open up to her, and who knows maybe she could help her get a home too!
