Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Arcturus
The Devil pulls the strings which make us dance;
We find delight in the most loathsome things;
Some furtherance of Hell each new day brings,
And yet we feel no horror in that rank advance.

Arcturus's message was important for the ocean king to know and to know now. The longer the skeleton demon sat upon the information and waited, the far more detrimental it became to Eden and his pack. It bemused and simultaneously amused the young boy why he had grown such a fascination with the older male that he would go out of his way to help him. Maybe it was because the hell fire singed boy saw himself within the older male, or maybe it was because Eden held secrets that Arcturus desired to know. For whatever reason, his interest had been sparked and he would be spending more and more time lingering around the ocean pack. He wasn't about to be chased away either, for he knew that Eden held an interest in him as well that had kept him from being killed upon their first meeting for the information that could ruin the Ocean king and his friend; the regicide of the king of angles was quite the big deal after all, and it would be a shame if the truth were ever to come out.

It does not take long after his lyrics had ended for Eden to come. His arrival is nothing dramatic, he simply appears, his body posture completely loose. Arcturus could be a very aggressive wolf, but only when he had reason to be and today he had no reason to be. The skeleton demon was far more driven by intellect than violence now that he had matured, as a young pup he had been more likely to lash out easily, but now he was more likely to mentally toy with the other wolf. Soulless gems seem to stare straight through the granite male as a silence fills the void between them. The Furian boy waits for a moment, waits for the eager curiosity to fill Eden's golden gaze before feeding it.

"You should learn more about the wolves you harbor in your pack," it was a statement, not meant to displease or anger. Eden may not overly concern himself with the small details of his pack member's lives, but what the boy was about to tell him may very well change his mind. "I stumbled upon one of your own, a male by the name of Dieloch, or so I overheard from the other he was with, within my caves," he says, dismissively using the word my to describe his current residence despite it being in the free lands. His eyes were always watching, searching for even the smallest reaction to his words. "He was with a wolf who's been making a name for himself, especially within Diveen: Zeus. Zeus is known to have attacked multiple Diveen wolves and even killed one of them, waging war on the angels."

He pauses for just a moment, gauging for another reaction to the information he was supplying. "Dieloch is helping him. I watched as Achilles came within the caves, along with several other of his pack mates, to capture Zeus. Dieloch helped attack the angels, in particular a female angel." It was incredibly big news, news that would certainly interest Eden as it would greatly affect him. In Arcturus's eyes, this Dieloch was an foolish. The skeleton boy knew not of his reasons, only that it was a juicy secret that could cause incredible tension between two packs. "I do not know if they smelled the ocean upon his pelt, but I do know that there is a possibility it could strain your relations with Diveen," his deep voice rumbles calmly. The secret keeper of Moladion got worked up over very little, showed very little emotion if any at all.

He silently wondered what Eden would do with the information, would he take action? Would he do nothing? It was all information he desired to know, and so he watched and waited. "I had also followed him for a few days and discovered he is a cannibal, killing and drinking the blood of other wolves. I can imagine this may also cause some problems for you in the future," he hums, adding this little tid bit when it looked like he was completely done. It was obvious now how much Arcturus knew, how dangerous he was, and what a good ally he would make.

So Eden, did this information sate your curiousity? Was it worth your time to come meet with this strange boy upon your border?
