Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

wolf

~I hope you smile when you look down on me~

Sin felt the coarse tongue of his equally white brother come over his cheek, but that did nothing to soothe the pain. Or confusion. Drizzt had chosen to go with the one wolf who hadn’t cared about them since there conception. Even their father questioned the pup, but as they all looked in anticipation of the full out refusal of his presence the family was greeted with a gentle sigh. And Hocus smiled. Sin couldn’t believe his eyes! His mother, the who had seemed to damn them from their birth had smiled… and no matter the fact that this motion was easy for any other wolf, it was still just as big of a deal as their own birth. But the arrival of two new wolves distracted most of them from fully appreciating and enjoying the moment. The wolves were similarly colored, and most definitely hurt. He quieted down and back away, behind his father’s forelimbs as the conversation took a turn for the worse.

Sebring couldn’t hind the surprise and hurt on her façade. She remained by Kalgalath, her ashen pelt mixed with his as they pressed together simultaneously. The hissing stream of words that flowed out of her mouth had Sebring on edge, 'Oh, Kal didn't mention me? What a shame, love. If there's anything us women hate it's secrets. Expecially when it comes to other women. Although there's no need to worry. It's not like we did anything.' Sebring felt her cheeks flush crimson and her pelt ruffled slightly. Aindreas hissed at her with half the emotion Sebring was chraged with. Kal’s son stepped between them making sure nothing to physical would ensue. He wanted to be the peace keeper here, and for that Sebring could try to respect him. I am sure there is an explanation for all of this…At any rate, it is nice to meet you Sebring. I am Aindreas, Kalgalath’s son, and these are my pups, Drizzt, Sin, Psycho, Famous, and Disaster. At least Kalgalath had a decent family, as Hocus would only be connected to them via the pups. And for the storm of emotions brought up Sebring couldn’t help but feel a slightly disconcerting emotion very well known to her… Abandonment. But she shouldn’t have felt that, her mottled knight had known Hocus before her and whatever was there was gone… right?

She pulled from her thoughts trying to focus on the little bodies that littered the scene. They were the reason the couple had shown. The pups were scattered about, Sin was hiding behind Aindreas and Drizzt was toddled over near his mother. Kalgalath had nothing until now, Hello, my little ones. My name is Kalgalath, and I am your grandfather. If ever you have a need, you will be safe in Aurora Borealis. Simply ask for me, and I will come. Sebring smiled with little effort at the snowballs. For as much as she hated their dam she couldn’t ignore the maternal instinct that had risen up. These pups were not born to bear the sins of their mother or father, but rather to live their own individual lives, separate. Sebring let her sunshine pools scan over them, trying to store away their names and faces until she would happen upon them again. But she turned to Kalgalath as his whispered words caught her attention, I will answer any question you ask… But not here. Not now.

Sebring just let her ashen crown bob up and down, but when would they have time..? Kalgalath was bound to take care of Aurora Borealis, but as she looked at him she realized that he needed to take care of himself first. Aindreas it is a pleasure to finally meet you, I do hope you will drop by Aurora someday so we might meet on more… comfortable terms. For as much as she tried Sebring had stuttered to find an appropriate phrase to fill in what she had wanted to say. She meant every word though, that couldn’t be denied. Aindreas seemed like a true gentleman, similar to that of his father. Sebring backed slightly her face nuzzling into Kal’s shoulder and her slim bodice leaning into his for support. The torn ligaments of her hindquarter were still fresh and the dislocation and relocation of her femur had proved to be much harder than expected. The pain had excruciating but with it back in place Sebring could at least bear weight for a bit of time. She didn’t comfortable enough to keep speaking bout amongst the current crowd and so she simply allowed herself to stay and observe quietly.

"They’re only baby scars," She whispers.
