She had begun to hear and feel the urges of the Shade, even without Underidge guiding her. It was an odd thing at first, something she never realized, but now it flows within her from time to time. It was an understanding in things that were always there, just that her eyes were not open to yet. Underidge simply opened her eyes and released her from the imprisonment of her old life. A life she barely remembers or cares about anymore. This is her life now, as she feels his teeth upon her ease their grip once more.
She feels the energy of Underidge above her, but she is undisturbed by this. She knew he would not lay any real harm upon her. She was strong and she was his, she was not to be taken by the Shade yet. She was to be another such as Underidge, to go forth and do the bidding of the Shade as needed. His comment was not one too odd, her ears flickering slightly as he then presses upon her back.
The pain does not bother her from her neck, and the pressure of his paw was not that significant at the moment. His silver eyes look into her own rainbow ones, as he demands she tell him who she is. She is relatively calm, un-phased in these moments as she lets her eyes gaze back at him in silence for but a shared moment. She allows a dark smirk to play across on naturally long and thing features, tempered to be what she was meant to be all along.
"Whatever the Shade needs me to be," she says with her voice smooth and confident. She never lost the beauty of her voice, the ability to form a lyrical tune even through normal words. She shakes him from her, freeing herself from his paw as she shifts her weight into a sitting a position. She turns her head slightly, a devious gesture as she blinks but once.
"And what is it the Shade needs of me today?" she asks, continuing to hold her rainbow gaze in the dim-lit den. |
