Taika waited with something that could barely be described as patience for the pups to arrive. Her entire body was quivering in the sand, fueled by the mounting energy. Her crackled eyes were wide, searching around for herr soon approaching playmates. As soon as the first paw falls were heard she jumped up and jumped around, inviting any of the young to come and wrestle with her. The first to approach ran right up to her, making her smile in delight.

Tithe stood beside them all, keeping an eye on the pups who were drawn to his friend and those drawn to his packmate. At the appearance of others from the mountains of Spirane made him smile to himself. He watched the older boy for a moment, taking note of his interest in the gathering and the care he took to place himself within the group. The protective knight made his mind to keep an eye on the youth, curious about where he would go in life.
Awkward attention was brought back to the pups as more approached. Tithe, unlike Taika, was not very good with children having very little of a childhood himself. A quick glance at the gypsy and fast notes made him smile warmly down at the little girl who introduced herself to them.
With a happy sigh, he lifted his head again to listen to Sorcha’s story. As the bard spoke, he found even himself getting pulled into her story. Head tilted and breath held in his mouth when she paused at the most exciting part.
