She wasn’t really expecting him to do all of this for her. She knew there wasn’t really a way for him to find their old den. It was just a wish really one that she wanted but knew was far too unlikely to accomplish unless she had her mother or some other older member to help. She wasn’t going to make him do it though, perhaps another time they could come back and try. The beach though was something she certainly wanted to do. She didn’t think about the fact that salt water was gross to the touch and drying on fur, or the sand that could find its way into any nook it wanted. Really she just wanted to see it. Not really swim or anything like that. It was something new that she knew was here and it was something she wished to see at least once. She didn’t initially notice his less than pleased face, though as soon as he spoke she could tell something was wrong.
The dark rimmed ears tilted back for a moment, wondering why he didn’t seem all that pleased. Had he been to a beach before? Were they not nice? Zelda noticed Hyrule’s tail wave regardless and smiled anyway. It meant a lot to her, even if he didn’t want to go, that he was going to go anyway. However she didn’t get a chance to really say more on the matter. She spotted the tall, heavily scarred black female walking her way. Zelda felt nervous. Not like how she did when meeting new wolves normally, she wasn’t sure what it was about this Impa that made her feel unease. She had been told to stay away her whole life, yet here she was, but that didn’t feel like the issue now. Something just felt strange, the way she gazed at her, moved. She radiated a power without showing it, she was far from like Amoxtli. Her gaze was cold and impassive, sending a chill down her spine.
Zelda dipped her head slightly when she looked, to show respect if nothing else for the female’s position. As she spoke Zelda simply remained silent, even as she called him Majora. That wasn’t his name, but she wasn’t about to say anything. Surely there was a reason for giving an alias rather than his real name. She sat respectively silent between the two. Watching as Hyrule’s demeanor changed to something more serious before the wolfess. It was odd to see such a change, but he was more mature, brave, and certainly had bigger plans in life than the little girl who sat quietly next to him. It didn’t mean she could plug her ears though to what was being said. The information quickly being filed away in the back of her mind. She didn’t know why, to ask him questions later. She wanted to help him, and she wasn’t dim herself. Slowly she was putting together what he was doing and she worried for him and still wanted to help him.
By the end though when he mentioned a healer the girl thought about saying something. How she could heal? Help the wolfess before her, but something stopped her as she looked over the state of the other wolf’s wounds. She had a healer, Zelda could tell at a glance that someone was at least tending to her. She would help too though if she wanted, though she was far from well-trained she knew the basics in bandaging and caring for open wounds like the wolfess had. The teal eyes shifted back from Tick Tock to Hyrule again, as he mentioned going to the beach. Her tail gave a few little waves but stopped at the mention of his group of assassins. He has done so much, and while he was older than her he wasn’t a lot older. Her ail waved lightly for him proud of him for what he was doing and still storing things he said away. It was becoming clear to her though more than ever he was a kind of spy and she was going to help him.
When Hyrule asked her to speak for a moment she was silent. He put her on the spot so fast and already she was a bit nervous before the female. ”I… well… My grandparents were killed by Jaidah. I wanted to see their home in the hopes I could get a bit closer to them. It’s very pretty here and thank you for not letting them stay or take it back.” She says looking up to the scarred face of the wolfess truly meaning her words, though I was clear she was a little nervous speaking to her. Something that would come with time an age, like many things for the girl, she would grow to know and understand more someday.
