Sidriel did not notice the wolf silently loping towards her, a shadow in the dark, much like the ones that tormented her. She knew that there were wolves who lurked in the dark, who sought to maim and kill those who were weaker and smaller. One day she would grow to be strong, but for now she was simply a gangly pup, not even quite a yearling. The girl had little to protect herself with, which made wandering ever the more dangerous- and in a place like this, lost as she was, it was unlikely that anyone would come to save her. Which was, unbeknownst to her, exactly what the wolf approaching her was hoping for.

She noticed him only as he emerged from the shadows and approached her at an ungainly gait, and she froze. It was like her worst nightmare was staring her in the face. Sidriel swallowed uncomfortably, shrinking backwards against the snow as the male's piercing silver eyes settled upon her. She didn't speak, or even move, fearing for the worst- would her fears finally come true? Was this the end for her, with no savior in sight? The girl did not speak, her eyes- full of terror- focused on the wolf in front of her.

His words made no sense to her and it was evident on her face, confusion replacing some of the fear in her eyes. Sidriel frowned slightly though otherwise she did not move. "W-what are you talking about?" She managed to squeak out, her tail pressed between her legs.
