Spring was filling the air and it was time for the band to move. Not that it was ever not a time for the band to move. It had seemed as though they had spent a long time in the Valley. Taika at least was starting to feel restless. The gypsy group had been invited to visit the forests of Taviora and she had mentioned it off handed to a couple of the wolves she had begun to roam with. It seemed as though the suggestion had taken off with a boom. There was excitement building and one of the other gypsy girls had taken off to make something for herself. Once the loners had begun to move she had seen, or smelled, the other girl’s return. A grin played across her face when she saw Dragonfly ready for the part she had adopted. Whether the fortunes she told were true, it would be an entertaining way to pass time, and for the others of the area to get to know them.
The chocolate and rust colored woman laid slightly out of the clearing, giving those who wanted a telling a little bit of privacy. There she would be able to chat with any who were waiting their turn. Her tail wagged in the dirt. Conversation and stories, or playful tacklings. She would happily do either. Gold cracked eyes glanced back at the clearing, a moment of seriousness fell over her. She had not seen her sister, Coquette, the Dream Speaker in a while. It had turned out there were wolves out there who could see into things others could not. Taika herself looked at the world around her with a belief that there was something more that could not be seen. A magic that flowed through the earth and the air, creatures and fairies that others insisted were myths. She believed in the unreal and therefore had come to live in a world of fantasy. She smiled at Dragonfly. Whether she was true to the powers that gripped other wolves, Taika hoped the excitement she brought would help them be even more welcome into the forests. Her mind wandered back to where they had found herself and she got to her feet in sudden excitement. She had met Zeltzin and had yearned to see the woman and her family. Grinning from ear to ear, she howled a greeting to the pack of Taviora, adding a note specifically for the woman who had invited them, as well as for the rest of the gypsies to know where they were.
