It is a good thing she has become tired now. Later this evening she would return to her den and actually curl up and sleep. Something her Brother would appreciate greatly. The entertainment she desired was fulfilled thanks to the she-wolf without a tail. Who knew that playing with food would be appropriate it? None of the fish they played with were devoured, but the fish were quite pretty. Nevermore had no idea that fish could come in such different size and colors. They were all very pretty. Each scale of a fish was shiner than the other, some scales yellow, some scales green, some were even blue and silver...and the silver ones were her favorite. She was happy, she was content, and now that Nakato was lying next to her she was warm and felt safe. Lying her head over her ebony paws she sighs softly as she feels sleep beckoning her. Though her wish for sleep is ceased, because her dark audits twitch back and forth as she happily listens to No Tail speak. That everything is connected is beyond what she can understand, but she is interested in how things work, perhaps if she understands how it is all connected then she would be able to comprehend such a thing. Her tail sways side to side as she listens to the meaning behind her color. She knows she is important and she is curious as to how she would become a powerful wolf, but she also wondered what would Brother be? Perhaps she will tell him to seek out No Tail and ask. Yet such thoughts were gone as No Tail speaks and gives her a warning, and she quickly hops to her feet and places one dark paw on Nakato’s muzzle, whispering quickly.
“Shhhhhh, No Tail, Mother doesn’t like royal titles!”
She knows royal titles are bad. Other wolves have called her Princess and her Brother Prince. Yet Provider does not go by Queen and Protector does not go by King. She understood that they were different, but not to be treated as such. They were all wolves. They were all strong and yet Provider and Protector were in charge. She had watched Provider protect them from the one-eyed wolf, and she was proud, proud to see her Mother come out victorious. No Tail needed to learn quickly that certain words must never be said, just as she had to teach Favorite. Even though No Tail said ‘Princess’ that did not mean Nevermore did not hear the rest of the things she said. She understood that what she would be taught would be fun, but also important. That she would want to use it for wrong was something she had never thought of, more importantly, didn’t understand what she could do wrong. With a solemn nod she speaks softly, emerald eyes staring into her own eyes, as her voice holds a bolder tone, pausing for a moment, but her voice stronger than usual.
“I promise...not to...hurt anyone with it.”
She turns her angelic face away for a moment, thinking about something, trying to remember something. There was a color No Tail spoke about and it was regards to herself. Lying herself back down on the ground, not really wanting to walk back to the den just yet, she looks up at No Tail, her speech hissing out softly in inquiry.
“What does...pale yellow mean?”
