Glaesfaet Sceawere is the name gifted to the mother river that flows through the center of Blossom Forest, bringing life and sustenance to all of the lands. It breaks off in many places, giving birth to smaller streams and estuaries, but the main body flows from the lake high in the north in Dierne Hrof all the way south down through Uyaraut to empty into the ocean. It is a fresh water river, but down through Uyaraut, the salt water does taint it. In places, parts of the river are underground and run through caverns unseen from aboveground.

Water buffalo grace these shores - with plenty of meat, though at a dangerous cost. Many river trout leap upstream daily.

Way of the Warrior

Warriors are not born and they are not made,
Warriors create themselves

She was a mess. There was no polite way of framing that without lying. Her pelt was matted with blood and debris, dark crusts covering her - on her nape, her head, her withers - making her look like the wolf version of a zombie. It was a sight that would have terrified pups, but instead, the reaction it gave to Aindreas was one of respect. She had fought for the pack that she ruled - and won - and clearly knew the benefits of being a warrior. 'I am Stormy Horizion, I have recently acquired Spring Grounds... however, this is not my first time ruling over those lands.' Aindreas nodded - so he was right, she had usurped the lands from its previous rulers. However, her second sentence confused the brute if he was being honest. "Second... Time? Had they stolen it from you then, and you just wanted it back? I was unaware... And in truth had never heard your name associated with that pack. Though, in truth, that does not surprise me entirely as the politics of other packs are not something I usually concern myself with." The brute's words were low, quiet. So rarely did he come into contact with other wolves - aside from his own pups - that it often felt weird for him to talk. For now, the raspiness had dissipated from his vocals, but if they talked much longer, it would return - his vocal folds would begin to rebel against the onslaught of his voice.

'As far as an alliance with Aurora, I have not myself actually traveled there since the battle, so regarding the state of our alliance... well... I'm not sure.' Aindreas laughed, his orbs glittering as he looked at her. "I'm sure wolves will be travelling to your pack soon, miss. Father is never idle, I am sure he will be sending diplomats to discuss that very thing with you." When first Aindreas' father had taken power, the pack was nearly bare, picked clean and as dead as the Alphess who had left it without a ruler when she had gone to the grave. Kalgalath had had a single ally - Saw Tooth - that had provided him with looming protection. But now, he was allied with multiple packs, and it was more so that Aurora Borealis provided them with protection and strength, and not the other way around. It had grown immeasurably in numbers, but most impressively was how loyal each wolf was to the crown.

When Aindreas had realized where he was, he had immediately become shy and embarrassed. Each of his attempted romances - when he had finally realized that he had feelings for them and they for him - had failed. Genisys and her brother had taken flight. Kobato had found another to love -though in truth Aindreas now thought of her as a little sister. Losa, the wolf he had saved from the storm, had disappeared in the night... And Leila? Leila had disappeared from the lands all together. The only logical way for the snowed titan to interpret this was to say that he was unlovable. How else was it possible for all of these faes to leave him? What Aindreas didn't understand, of course, was that the feelings he had for most of these femme's was not one of attraction, but ones of commradery. Aindreas had difficulty when it came to that pesky problem of "emotions" and thus had trouble not only identifying those feelings, but putting a name to them. He had little knowledge of proper social etiquette and had preferred to keep his loner life style.

To digress, he was uncomfortable being here, and felt like an intruder... An outsider. Someone who had upset the peace of this place. But to his surprise, the ess seemed to be just as uncomfortable being here as well. She stumbled backward before looking around nervously, and for whatever reason, Aindreas laughed and started to walk toward her, his auds flickering as he heard her stomach rumble. "Come into the river miss. If you have any skill in fishing you can catch a quick meal while I clean your wounds. I am by no means a healer, but I can at least debride them and get them down to clean, healthy flesh. I've had my fair share of wounds..." He flinched when he entered the water, probably the only body of liquid that was not frozen due to its current. Its frigid waves bit at his limbs and he cringed, but turned his azures toward her, waiting for her to join him.

Through trial and error, pain and suffering,
And their ability to conquer their own faults
