The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Akuji had, true to his promise, been following the Princess the entire time they had been back in Cold Summers. The bull breaking his limb had made it a bit more difficult - not to mention painful - but still he had followed her every chance he had gotten.
Some of his time had of course been spent with Shae - learning about both her coupling with Caspian and her subsequent pregnancy. She wasn't sure how many she carried, but only that she was indeed carrying pups - pureblood royals no less.
Akuji was not sure how he felt about the matter.. Especially since it would make it more likely for Farant to come to visit them... To collect Shae's pups.

Akuji had also spent some of his time with his daughter... Or rather daughters. Shasta had only mildly been injured by the bull luckily, and Ariel had made a surprising return to the pack. Akuji had not seen her since she was but a pup, and she was older now, a teen. But he would recognize her anyway. He had tried to talk to her, but she had not recognized him. Still, he was trying to get to know her again, to have a relationship with her like he had with Shasta... Or rather like he had had with Shasta. Ever since she had found out that he had intentions to betroth her to Horizon, she had been mad at him, and he had not a clue why. Horizon was kind and would protect her. He also had royal blood within him, and would take good care of her. The brute was even handsome! But even despite all of them, Shasta felt betrayed or hurt, or something of the sort. Such things confused the kalak.

The Princess had been behaving - she had not left the pack borders again... Until now. Ever her shadow, Akuji now followed her, hiding every time that she turned around to look behind her, her dualies no doubt searching for his form in the night. The sun at his back helped to hide him from her eyes, and he doubted that she even knew that he was following her. That very task became increasingly difficulty, as she began to run.. Not necessarily from him, but just in general. His auds picked up on her sobs and whimpers, but all he felt was confusion - she had not been physically injured, so what in the world did she had to cry about. He ran after her, wincing with every stride as his broken limb jostled, and his muscles around it tensed, trying to keep it somewhat still to decrease the pain. He would be paying for this tomorrow...

The kalak ended up having to follow her trail, falling behind quickly, and was surprised as to where it led him - to the Cavern of Secrets. What point did Katia have for coming here? To hide in the dark? To try to find the secret passageway that led out of Blossom Forest? What point was there?

Slowly, Akuji entered, staying to the shadows, and going in only far enough to block out the daylight from outside, and then it was that his orbs found her in the darkness, gasping against the far wall, her facade stain with her tears. "Do you mean to cause me strife, Princess? Do you not remember the previous conversation we had earlier? Why would you leave the territory again, do you know what dangers there are for you outside of your father's borders?" Akuji limped toward her, growling from the pain in his limb. "How is my broken leg to heal if I have to go running around the entirety of Blossom Forest after you? You need to be protected."
