The blood of the fawn had trickled onto my pink tongue; the flesh I had ached so long for was now so close at hand. I yearned to rip into the tissue of the babe, to gut it and drink its blood. But I waited until the black Monster had given me the go head before burying my snout into the belly of the dead youngster. Canines rip into the soft skin, revealing an array of weak muscles and innards. The meat is succulent and tender but when my new alpha speaks I force my blood soaked snout away from my half eaten meal to face her. The question she asks makes me ponder for a moment before answering,
"I have spent most my life alone, pack life is alien to me now but I am devout to see this through. As you can see I am no fighter.” I give a soft chuckle, as if she couldn’t already see that, dummy. " But I am quick, intelligent, and can be quiet as a shadow when needed. I am half decent with my words, I admit sometimes I have a temper, but I am quick to learn and anywhere you should have me I would be happy with.”
I give a slight bow of my mahogany tipped head before dipping my head back down to the half ate deer carcass. With only some scraps remaining and a now well rounded belly I stretch my stiff body. The blood on snout would remain for now; no amount of licking would lift the red hued stain from my fur. The sun is warm on my back and the wind blows a cool breeze in my face. With a full belly and in a better mood, I sprawl my body out over the soft turf. The land was as beautiful as the grass was green. The meadow in which the deer had frolicked was now empty of any life; the mother of my victim had likely fled with her herd before her child was even dead. I bring my azul eyes to Tick Tock now, my blood stained mouth parting to let out my gentle voice
"I think I’ll like it here.”
